"PARTAY!" I screamed swaying my hips to the beat of the music. Everyone cheered and I grinned delightfully. I held my drink in the air and sang the lyrics to Party Rock Anthem. I could feel the energy rush through me as I partied as hard as I could.
Some guy from my old high school seemed to take interest in me but I didn't know who he was because my eye sight was blurry. I tried focusing my attention but I couldn't, and before I knew it he was on the table with me. I was dancing and moving my body with his. I tried getting away, but the table wasn't that big, and I had no room. So, I decided to leave it and dance with the stranger.
He moved his hands to my hips, and even though I was clearly drunk, I could sense something was wrong. He smiled and I did the same and he pulled me forcefully towards him. My breath hitched in my throat and at that moment I knew I needed to get away.
"You look very pretty Melody," he said creepily.
Oh great it was one of the creeps from my old school.
"Thank you, can you let me go?" I asked and tried shoving him off of me, but his grip was tight. I started getting anxious and I took another sip of my drink to calm me down.
"No can do little miss," he said. My eyes widened and I did the one thing I could think of. I spilt my drink of his head. He pushed me off of him and I found his reaction hilarious and I laughed. I laughed and danced while he stared at me like I was an alien. His eyes held anger and I knew I was in for it but I didn't care! It was funny!
Suddenly I was lifted off of the table I was standing on and I was greeted by the sight of someone's back. I giggled and started to hit their back.
"Let go!" I shrieked.
"No can do Beauty," someone said. I rolled my eyes and hung my arms lazily. I was aware I was over someone's shoulder, and the person sounded familiar, but I didn't know who it was.
"I want a drink!" I whined.
"Your boyfriend cut you off," the guy said. I huffed and pouted although he couldn't see me.
"ALEC!" I screamed. "ALEC!"
"He can''t hear you babe," the man said.
"NO ONE ASKED YOU!" I yelled at him. I continued screaming for Alec and finally I saw him running towards me. I smiled and kicked whoever was holding me in the stomach causing him to groan and drop me. I laughed, stood up and ran to Alec.
"Melody," he said with relief.
"Alec some man kidnapped me!" I stated. "And another man was about to kiss me! " I pouted and hiccuped. His fist clenched but he seemed to calm down when I wrapped my arms around his neck. "But I'm with you and you are cute so I didn't wanna kiss him," I said and shook my head. "No no no that would have been mean," I said and hiccuped.
"Babe, you're drunk and wasted," he said with a chuckle. I like it when he chuckles.
"AM NOT!" I yelled and hiccuped again.
"Who was the man?" he asked and crossed his arms over his chest challenging me. I did the same and gave him a glare.
"Which one?" I asked.
"The one who kidnapped you."
"I don't know! I only saw his back and butt!" I said. Alec rolled his eyes and came over to me. I suddenly felt cold and that's when I realized we were outside the house.
"I'm cold!" I whined and stumbled a bit. Alec picked me up and walked back inside the house with the mystery man following. "Alec," I mumbled tiredly.
