"PER FAVOR!" Alec yelled.

"POR FAVOR!" I yelled back.

"Dannazione! It's not Spanish Mel!" he said in frustration.

"They sound the exact same!" I exclaimed.

"No! One is por and the other is per! Different vowels!"

"This is useless!" I screamed and stomped over to the couch.

If you couldn't tell, I was currently trying to learn Italian. Alec was my "tutor" but unfortunately, things weren't going too well. Italian and Spanish sounded somewhat alike! And I know some Spanish so I don't understand why I can't just use Spanish words while speaking Italian.

"It's like using English words while speaking French! It doesn't make sense!" Alec went on. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Babe give it up. I'm hopeless," I chuckled.

He sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"How about I stick to the talking and you stick to whatever the hell you do," Alec said.

"Sounds like a plan!" I said with a smile. He gave me a small smile and sat beside me on the couch.

"Alright, what do you want to do now?" he asked.

"Let's go meet Vi and Nate at the lounge and play some pool or something," I said.

"Sure," and we were off. I got my phone and the keys to the penthouse and we headed downstairs to the lounge.

This week has been somewhat of a mess. I've been working hard on that song I still yet need to finish, and Leslie seems to be everywhere.

Speaking of the angel.

"Alec! Fancy seeing you here!" she said as we made our way into the lounge, completely ignoring me.

"Everyone hangs out here, it's not really a surprise I'd be here too," he said in a bored tone.

I could tell she was taken aback, but she didn't let it show.

"Well, I was just going to come find you. I'm having a party on Friday and I would love for you, Nate and Vivian to come!" she said happily. I gave her a confused look.

Did she seriously just say that in front of me? I know I was noticed by her. And did she really think he'd go? Any of them for that matter?

"We'll think about it," he said with a shrug. My jaw dropped and I whipped my head to look at him.

"Oh great!" she said like she was surprised, "hope to see you three there!" And she walked away without giving me a second glance.

I can't believe her!

"ALEC!" I exclaimed.

"Look look I didn't mean it! I only said that so she'd get off my back! We aren't actually going to that party! We aren't even allowed parties here. And her dorm is too small anyways," he said.

I sighed and shook my head. "I really don't like her," I stated.

"You and me both babe," he said and lead me towards Vi and Nate.

I sat down beside Vivian who was looking intensely at her cards.

Yes, they were playing cards.

"4 of hearts?" she asked.

"Nope! Go fish!"

"Ugh!" she groaned and angrily took the card from the pile. And then another. And then another. And finally, she found a card she could use.

"Curse you," she mumbled to Nate. He laughed and shook his head.

"What's up guys?" he asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and responded, "nothing much."

"How's Italian tutoring going?" Vivian asked.

"Don't ask," Alec said with a sigh. I rolled my eyes and looked at her.

"Let's just say I'm not going to be able to speak Italian for a little while longer," I said.

She laughed and looked at Nate. "2 of diamonds?" he asked.

"Here," she sighed and gave him the card. "Wanna join?"

"Sure," I said with a smile.

"No thanks I suck at cards," Alec said.

"Sucks you're playing," I said.

We reshuffled the deck of cards and Nate passed us each 10 cards. "So we encountered Leslie just a few minutes ago," I started.

"And what'd she say this time?" Vivian asked. "Alec, two of clubs?"

"Nope. Go fish. She invited you, me, and Nate to a party on Friday," he continued.

"What about Mel?" Nate asked.

"Not me, and she invited you guys right in front of me too," I said.

"Babe, king of hearts?" Alec asked me.

"You mean yourself?" I asked with a smirk.

"Well then I guess you're my queen," he said with a chuckle and kissed my nose.

"Okay, okay, guys. Are we going or not?" Vivian asked.

"Nope," Alec responded.

"Oh yeah here," I said handing the card to Alec. "I say we go, and crash the party; or rather I'd be the party crasher," I said with a giggle.

"Yes! I'm all for that!" Vivian exclaimed.

"Me too!" Nate agreed.

"Come on babe! Let's do it!" I said to Alec. He rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Alright, alright, I guess," he said with a small smile. I beamed with delight and clapped my hands.

"Hooray! I can't wait," I said.

With that, we carried on with our card game. Vivian groaned each time she had to go fish, and we all laughed at her attempt at winning. In the end, Nate won, and Vivian left to go have some "me time" which really meant "drinking time". She has a secret stash of vodka somewhere hidden.

"She takes Go Fish very seriously," Nate explained with a laugh.
