I was excited from the very beginning, being a green belt meant so much potential ahead and new things to learn. I actually skip a level in my testing from level 1 green which I was suppose to get but because I was extremely good they skip a level (Christian got the same deal too).
Green belt wasn't all that bad at all, I learned some few moves for sparring and new kicks along, things were actually pretty good. Probably because I had it easy as a green belt, but once you get higher rank or belt, the distance that you can get close to your sparring opponent gets smaller and smaller until at black belt you have to be at least an inch apart which is almost impossible.
Things were pretty good at this point, I knew there were only a few belts left until the black belt which my eyes were set on. I trained as much as I could do, try my best, do what my teachers told me to at the academy and at school.
