Best Thing

Chapter 6

It's Sunday morning and I didn't sleep a wink last night. Yesterday was my date with Caleb and it was perfect. Of course what else would it be? He had picked me up at 7 and we got into his car where he blind folded me. I was a little worried but i trusted him, and he knew my brothers anyways. When we had finally gotten there he led me into a building and we were seated down at a table, where he then took my blindfold off and I was suddenly looking at the most beautiful place I had ever been too.

   Caleb had taken me to a very nice restaurant in downtown Nash. It was a fairly large building with tall windows and beautiful chandeliers set over each table. When he first took the blindfold off I was stunned. Next to nobody took me to places like this.

   We talked over supper and afterwards he took me to a park right next to a pond full of colorful fish and many different kinds of ducks. We fed the ducks and walked around for a little bit. We even ran into a street performer and Caleb made me dance with him. It was honestly the best time I've ever had.

    Now today I'm not all here, but I will make it I'm sure. I've just woke up and Ava is making breakfast. I'm sure she's full of questions.

We headed to church and got there right on time. The whole parking lot was full, which wasn't unusual but the streets were full too.
