Best Thing

Chapter 2

As we pulled into the malls parking lot with Ava's best friend Emily and my best friend Sadie. I told Ava and Emily just to call me when they saw Caleb and Joey so we could meet them too, they agreed knowing we loved meeting the boys as much as they do.

Ava and I had had a few other times When we bumped into the guys so they know who we are. Ava also got quite a few tweets from them on occasion.

We got inside and all of us split up. Ava and Emily to go get presents for Caleb and Joey, and Sadie and I went to buy new clothes. After a while of trying on clothes we finally got tired and texted Ava telling her to meet us at the food court for some lunch. She replied with a quick okay, and saying she had something absolutely hilarious to show me.

We met up at the food court and sat in the middle.

"Leila, look at these pictures Joey put on twitter!" Ava told me laughing hysterically. I looked at her curiously, wondering what in the world was so funny.

I scrolled through the pictures laughing uncontrollably, realizing why Ava was also. The pictures were of Caleb and Joey in long skirts and in other very odd clothing. I handed the phone to Sadie who could hardly contain herself either.

"Wow!" I said, "That IS the most funny thing I have ever seen!"

"What is?" a voice from behind us said. Not even thinking I took the phone from where Sadie had dropped it and showed the person behind me the pictures of Caleb and Joey. Sadie lightly punched me in the gut and pointed up to the guy who was laughing. I couldn't believe it.

"Haha yeah I thought that was pretty embarrassing, I can't believe Joe posted those!" He said smiling at me.

I wasn't sure what to say I was so surprised Caleb Grimm and Joey Stamper were standing right behind me.

We all sat there in stunned silence until Joey said, "Do you mind if we join you for lunch?"and again everyone was completely silent. "haha okay then we'll just go sit over here." Joey said obviously getting a little uncomfortable with our silence.

"No, no, no, come sit with us we don't mind at all!" I said hurriedly, not wanting to miss the chance.

"Awesome, we wouldn't want to miss the chance to get to know our biggest fans!" Caleb winked at me."Right?" he finished.

"Of course not!" Ava said "and we wouldn't pass up the chance to get to know you!"

   As everyone eased out of their states of shock we talked and talked with them. We pretty much talked about everything and anything. But after about 2 hours of talking, Caleb piped up and said they had to go work in the studio.

   We said our goodbyes and emptied our trays, feeling a little sad about having to leave. I went to grab my phone from my purse when I saw something in there that wasn't there before. It was a small slip of paper with a message on it. It read, "Hey Leila it was wonderful getting to know you, and I was kind of hoping to talk to you even more. If you're up to it meet me at Starbucks for some coffee tomorrow morning. Hope to see you there -Caleb."

Really? Either this really happened or I'm going mad! I held the note up to Sadie, "Is this real?" I said to her.

"Let me see." she grabbed the paper,  scanned over it, and looked up at me grinning ear to ear. "You're kidding me right?"

"So it is real!" I said

"What is?" Ava said and ripped the piece of paper from Sadie's hands.

"Unbelievable you DID get a date with Caleb! I was right! HA I knew it!!"

"Yeah and look at this, I wonder if they planned it." Sadie handed me a slip

of paper from her bag, and it read about the same thing except from Joey.

"Wow, this is awesome seriously I can't believe it!" I told her. "We are going right?" I checked with her.

"Of course we're going!! you'd be out of your mind not to!" Sadie told me.

"Right, right so I'm going to go home and get ready for this." I told them.

"Geez slow down sister it's not until tomorrow morning lets finish shopping. Maybe you can get some pretty clothes then." Ava said winking at me.

"Alright, good idea let's go."

Wow, if this was a dream it sure was a good one!
