Papyrus p.o.v

I was sitting down in the living room and saw Carson coming down the stairs, she slid down the railing for the second time and I looked at her annoyed. I already told her not to do that in the house, yet she still didn't listen. She smiled a little and I huffed, crossing my arms. Then gave her a small smile. "SANS IS IN THE DINING ROOM IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO HIM." She shook her head and I looked up. ""THEN WHAT IS IT?" She walked over to me and smiled. Holding out her hand. I looked at her confused. "UH, CARSON?-" She stopped me. " "Y/n." I looked at her even more confused and she smiled. "My name is y/n." She tugged on her sleeves nervously, her face turning a little red. "When I first met you guys, I didn't trust you guys with my name. After all, in this day and age, names are a powerful thing. You could find anyone if you had that kind of info and the right equipment." I gave her a warm smile and her face only turned even more red. "Anyways, I made up the name Carson so you guys wouldn't know. But after you let me into your home, I started feeling guilty for not saying when you guys didn't hide much from me." I took her hand and shook it slowly. "I also thought that our introductions with me on the roof being shot at by you guys wasn't really how we should be meeting properly. So hi, my name is y/n." She said, smiling. "HELLO, I AM PAPYRUS. IT IS NICE TO MEET YOU." We laughed a little and she stood up slowly, her face covered in sweat. "Thank god, I was scared that it would be really awkward." "SO YOU DO HAVE A SOFT SPOT!" I blurted out. Now her face looked like a cherry and she looked like she was going to explode. "NO I DON'T!" She said annoyed. I gestured for her to go into the dining room and pushed her that way. "GO TELL HIM ASWELL. HE MAY SEEM LIKE AN UN-TRUSTWORTHY PERSON, BUT HE SHOULD KNOW TOO." She nodded and slowly walked into the dining room. I smiled and pulled on my coat. Grabbing my sniper rifle and hiding it before heading out  the door. It was already sunset and I had some people I needed to meet. "*sigh* SEEMS I WON'T BE MAKING DINNER TODAY..."

~eight hours later~

Y/n p.o.v

I was sitting down at the front and frowned. It had been eight hours and Papyrus still hadn't come back. I was started to get worried. but not as much at Sans, who was pacing nervously around the room. His eye glowing blue and his fists clenched behind his back. I started getting scared that if Papyrus didn't get back soon, Sans would break the whole house down. I went on my phone and called him for the fiftieth time, only to hear his ringtone and loud voice telling me to call him back. I turned back to Sans, his eyes now fully black and a glowing bone in his hand. He threw it and I dodged it quickly, opening the door as it went outside, flying for a while before disappearing. "Sans." I said quietly. He looked at me angrily, clenching his teeth. "WHAT." I walked over to him and hugged him, though my better judgement was telling me to run while I could, I still held him close. At first he stiffened, his eye glowing and a bone materializing beside him, but then he stopped, his face grim as tears filled them. I hugged tighter and he started crying quietly. "He'll come back...I promise..." He squeezed my shirt sleeve and I smiled. He was finally opening up. Suddenly, the door slowly opened and Papyrus entered, his face stained with tears and his rifle, armed and loaded, in his hand. Though it was the look on his face that really scared me the most. I turned to run towards him, but a bone flew in front or me. Sans gave me a look that sent a shiver down my spine and walked over to Papyrus. He frowned. "I'M SORRY IF I WORRIED YOU, I DIDN'T MEAN TO-" Sans slapped his across the face and Papyrus stood there, frozen. "Worried?...WORRIED!?! I WAS SITTING HERE FOR HOURS WAITING FOR YOU! WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO YOU!? IF I LOST YOU TO I'D-I COULD NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF!" Sans yelled, his eye now glowing blue. Papyrus didn't speak or move, his face grim as tears fell onto the cold, hard floor. Finally Sans started tearing up even more and hugged Papyrus. "I just...I can't lose you...I already lost Gaster...I..." He started crying even harder and screaming into Papyrus's shirt. I had an urge to ask who this 'Gaster' person was, but I knew now wasn't the time. Sans let go and walked into the kitchen and I heard Papyrus whisper something under his breath, which i'd rather not say at the moment, as he turned towards the door. "HE'S GONNA START STRESS SMOKING AGAIN..." I frowned, but didn't dare to look up at him. "What happened?...I...I've never seen Sans cry before..." My voice croaked a little and Papyrus didn't answer. I pulled his tie down so he reached my height and looked at him. "I don't need you to tell me. But I never want to see either of you cry like that. So please, never do it again..." He nodded and I walked upstairs. Closing the door quietly as he walked into the basement. What on earth did you do to yourself Papyrus?...

Hope you guys liked this chapter, your welcome for adding y/n (your name) instead of Carson, I just thought it would be easier on your behalf. Also, don't think that her being called 'C' is a coincidence, cause it's not. I'm not spilling why she's called 'C' by Frisk yet, but it will be revealed later in the book when we go deeper into the relationship between Frisk, Chara, and Y/N. Well, that's all I gotta say! See ya guys!
