Voices.
That was what greeted me.
Deep male voices.
Could it be my Dad's voice? Was I back home?
I didn't trust myself to open my eyes.

I stretched out on the glorious comfy bed that felt so nice.
Taking a deep breath. I knew something wasn't right.

My bed smells of lavender and cherry blossom. Right now my nose was detecting something else.

My eyes flew open automatically and I bolted straight from the bed.
When I my eyes studied my surrounding, disappointment and sadness settled within me.

I wasn't home.

Why did this fucking world keep slapping bad luck at me every time I make a bit of progress.

'Where was I' I wondered.

This room was huge with everything a room should have.
Chest drawers,a wide closet, bedside table and a chestnut desk with a swivel chair.
Well and of course a King size bed.

Those voices I could never mistake for another one interrupted the viewing of this awesome room.

Dante had gotten me again. Apparently, I was in his house.
What do they want from me. Seriously, I'm getting fed up.

I stood up to my feet, trying to gain my balance. Since I was still slightly dizzy.

Pulling the door open, I stepped out into the hallway and tried to find the stairs.

The first thing that came to my mind was to run down the stairs and get the hell out of here.

But that thought disappeared when I saw them seated on the sofa below. Dante, smoking while Ricardo was downing a glass of red wine.

I was interested in what they were talking about.

"Thanks bro" Ricardo started dropping his wine glass on the table in front of him.

Were they really brothers because I can hardly see the similarities between them.

"For letting her stay here" he continued.

Wait. Did I hear that right? I'm staying here, they aren't taking me back there?

Dante released a cloud of smoke from his mouth. Then spoke.

"As I said before Ricky. We still have to settle some things with her staying, what she can and can't do. The most important. No one must find out she's staying here, especially my Father." He said cautiously.

Ricardo stood up from the sofa.
"You have my word Dante. Let me go check on something"

Dante chuckled. His deep voice vibrated through the room.
"Sure. Go check if sleeping bit..., I mean the lady is awake."

That was my cue.

I quickly ran back to the room quietly, thanking my stars I didn't put any shoes on.

Flopping myself back on the bed, I sighed.
I wasn't too freaked out when the door opened. Well, since I knew who it would be.

"You're up already, how are you doing?" He asked cheerfully.
On his face he wore a friendly smile, as usual.
