Chapter Twenty-Two : Misunderstandings

Atlast! Atlast we're going to the most-awaited honeymoon. I know I'm over acting a bit or I am doing more than a bit, but seriously I don't care. It's just a normal honeymoon for all others which a newlywed goes on. But for me it's like everything. Time. Peaceful time. Alone. This was all I wanted with Aradhaya. I'm so excited! Tomorrow we'd start off. Oh boy, I've to check out my luggage first. With all these thoughts and happiness filled in my eyes, I entered my room to see my girl seated on the couch doing some paper work. Oh Dev-it ain't paper work, but it's her design which she's making.

"Hey habibti! Why are you working still? I mean go sleep, tomorrow we'll start our new journey." I said excitedly and walked towards her.
"Don't disturb me. If you want you go sleep or go die. I don't care. Let me do my work." She said calmly, not looking at me. Rude. "What's wrong? Why are you talking to me so rudely?" I questioned hopefully.
"It's my wish, my will. Anyways you're not my love to talk sweetly." She said coldly glancing at me. What the bloody hell?

"Seriously what did I do now, that you're angry?" I questioned confused."Listen I'm not angry and just forget about what happened two-three days before. All we now are husband-wife for others and strangers in real. Get this in your head. Now good night." She said and walked towards the bed.

"Okay so I get it. Surely something is wrong. There's some misunderstanding which has to be cleared. But baby, your strings are in my hand. You like me and none can change that fact. Yeah get ready for tomorrow's trip. Honeymoon trip. You know what? In such honeymoons anything can happen. Literally anything!" I said going closer to her while she just gulped in fear.

"Wh-what do you mean? No-nothing will happen okay? And we're going to this honeymoon only for show. It's nothing like we do really are going to enjoy and do something." She said trying to act all confident but the thoughts of we making out are killing her from inside. "Yeah Yeah. Anything that makes you happy. Let's see what will happen in this honeymoon." I said smirking and switched off the lights.

Surely there's a misunderstanding which is waiting for me to come and clear. This Aradhaya will never say anything and my aim is to make her fall with me not getting information from her. I've to do it on my own. Why me always?

"So ready?" I questioned Aradhaya and she just gave me look before walking out. Rude enough. I too walked out to see my whole family hugging Aradhaya. "Grandmom, take care of yourself. Have your medicines on time." Aradhaya said taking grandmom's hand in hers.
"Okay, so over melodrama? Now can you all leave my wife alone so I'll spend some time with her?" I said playfully while everyone smirked except for Aradhaya who was busy throwing death glares in my direction. "Shut up! Will you?" She said swearing under her breathe.
"Okay okay! Come let's leave. We're getting late." I said and she just nodded. We bid our byes and walked towards the car. She started texting someone and I got irritated.
