Aradhaya Kumar.
Atlast the day had arrived. Today I'll be married. This thought it self was eating me from inside. My in-laws were very understanding unlike my so-called parents. When I requested them for a normal registered marriage, they've accepted without any argument. I just hope they ain't like my own parents and to my shock Dev was Pragya's elder brother and that was when I remembered that Mayira already told me about this but I forgot. I was shocked knowing this fact but a bit of me was relaxed. I'd have someone in that house who'll help me until I cope with everything. I was waiting in my room with this shitty bridal attire. I have a sudden urge to undress myself. God!
Bored as hell, I started playing Criminal Case on my phone. This game is my favourite from childhood. My room's door suddenly flung open and there entered Mayira in her designer outfit. Her expressions were way too different. I thought she was the happiest girl alive but her eyes said a different story. I walked up to her with this damn dress of mine. "What happened? You look tensed?" I asked. "I'm not tensed. I'm just a bit upset." She said with her head hung low. "What happened?" I asked cupping her face gently.
"Firstly I never wanted you to have a simple and boring marriage. I planned so much. But you just brushed off everything by announcing your desire to have a registered marriage. I was sad but I convinced myself saying it's too hard for you to marry after all that happened. Still you're doing it for me. But now Dev brother-ugh!" She started saying. I know I made her upset by a registered marriage but I didn't want all my relatives to come over and seriously wanted to avoid any drama. But wait, Dev brother? What this jerk has done now?
"What did Dev do?" I asked suspiciously while curiosity was eating me from inside. "Ah Dev brother has got a new deal to crack and to sign the papers he had to fly to Delhi. So basically he had signed the marriage papers. Now its you who have to sign them and you'll be Mrs. Reddy. See how boring it is." She said in a sad tone.
What the hell? Is this even a marriage?
I know I never wanted to marry after all the stuff I had gone through. But still I'm also a girl and every girl wants her marriage to be the best.
How can I forget that my fate never leaves a chance to break my heart? How can I even expect this wedding to go well when all my life was just a bloody mess! A lone tear escaped from the corner of my right eye but I wiped it away."But you don't worry sister, my brother will come back tonight. Your wedding night will be the best." She said excitedly and took out some papers and pen. Wedding night? Damn no! It's good that Dev will be back tonight. I will tell him about my future plans regarding "Us" and finish the story then and there. Tonight will be a big night.
I was asked to sign those papers. After reading them I signed those papers. Mayira hugged me and congratulated me. I slowly smiled. But that smile vanished when my so-called parents appeared. Mayira left me and went outside to submit the papers. Mrs. Kumar came near me. She looked at me once and left the room. What the hell?
"I hope you won't let me down by doing something at Dev's house." Mr. Kumar warned me.This was the last thing I've ever expected.
"Oh Mr. Kumar, my in-laws are way better than you, I guess. They'll understand me unlike you. Now you may please leave before I tell you to get out!" I said sarcastically. I sat on my bed with my head in my hands after Mr. Kumar left the room but not before sending cold glares in my direction. This man Dev is really going to be the death of me!

Dev Reddy.
Today is my so-called wedding with that gold-digger Aradhaya. Damn her. I was pacing in my room still thinking how to handle her after my marriage. I don't understand why she asked for a registered marriage. All she wants is to have a grand marriage with me and show off in front of her friends right? May-Maybe she isn't marrying me for my money?
While I was busy thinking about all of this, my phone started ringing. Who the hell is that? "Hello?" I lifted the call. "Sir, it's me Ram." Said Ram, my Personal Assistant. "Ah Ram what is it?" I asked irritated. "Actually sir, Mr. Varma wants to meet you, that too today. He wants to talk about the deal. He's currently in Delhi and wants you to fly there." He informed. What the hell? Today is my marriage man but this deal is also very important. How do I manage? "Ah Ram I'll call you in awhile." This was all I could say.
I rushed out to my Grandmom's room. She was very happy and I smiled seeing her. "Oh Dev, my son." She said as she looked at me.
"Grandmom, actually I-" I didn't know how to tell her about my deal.
"Say!" She ordered. Without wasting a second I explained everything to her. I just hope she understands me. "So Grandmom, I think you should cancel this marriage?" I said hopefully."No. I have a solution. You sign the papers and fly to Delhi. I'll get Aradhaya to sign the papers and submit them in the office. You both will be officially wedded. Tomorrow there will be a party where I'll announce about this marriage. You can leave after you sign these papers." Saying that she called Ram and informed him about the marriage papers. Seems like there's no escape for me now!
I signed the papers and left to airport promising my Grandmom to be back by tonight.
What would Aradhaya and her family think about me, now?
