Chapter Eight : Wedding Night

I was back to my home by eight at night. I had a sudden urge to take a nap. When I entered in I saw my house decorated with flowers and then the realisation hit me like a cool breeze. Today I became a married man. I'm married, that too with an unknown girl. Okay, not unknown but whatever! Nothing could be worser than this.

"Brother, you're back!" Pragya hugged me tight. "Yeah." I said, tired. "Get ready my son. It's your wedding night. First night with your lady." It was my dad. "Wedding night?" I said shocked. Like now I've to share my room with that witch. She would be the first and last thing I'll see everyday and night. Dmn, where am I stuck?

"Oh boy! Go get ready." He said and left. "Brother, look at me." It was Pragya.

"Look, I know everything's happening in a haste and it's too hard for you to take in all of this. I understand, you may be insecure about Aradhaya and even may have some doubts. It's okay. You can talk and sort out. I'm telling you right, sharing life with Aradhaya is the best thing ever. She's like a mystery. A unique mystery and I'm sure you'll have fun solving this mystery. I'm always there for you to help you, alright? Now go get ready. Aradhaya will be at home in an hour or so." Pragya said excitedly. Saying is easy. Life with this witch is the worst thing ever. She maybe a mystery but I'm never going to solve it.

Thinking all this I went inside my room and took a hot shower to calm myself. I was with Rahul talking about my day. My so-called day.

Soon he started blabbering about Aradhaya's cousins and how hot and cool they were. I wasn't interested in this shit at all as all that bothered me now was how do I interact with that witch? At this moment I just hoped there was a book which had solutions for all the problems faced by a man who's forced into an alliance. Like really. It was around ten at night and I started yawning. I wanted to sleep and cuddle with my bed but here I'm waiting for Pragya to call me. Struggles of my wrecked life, I say!

"Bro! Aradhaya is here. You can go to your room now. All the best." Pragya came running. "Oh my gawd! Tonight my best buddy and the biggest playboy, Dev Reddy is going to loose his virginity! Oh no!" Rahul said sarcastically. "It's okay bro! I understand." He said while wiping his fake tears. Pragya hit him on his head with a cushion. Serves him right! I mentally laughed evilly.

"Ouch. That hurts, duffer!" Rahul said setting his hairstyle. This guy will never change! "Okay! Bro all the best!" Rahul hugged me. I smiled at them and left for my room. I was on my way when that witch Shilpa called me.

"Hello?" I answered. "Hey babey!" She said. "Cut the crap! Why did you call me?" I asked irritated. "Oh my babey! I've heard you got married. Well, I just wanted to tell you that I need some money." She said. "Money? What the hell?" I shouted. "Oh my boy! Don't shout! Listen, I need some money and it's you who'll give me that. Get it?" She said in a serious tone. "And what if I won't give you?" I asked irritated.
