Dev Reddy.

Ah! These girls! They're never gonna change! It's been half an hour since I'm waiting in this stupid gift showroom. Pragya and her obsession for gifts! People are probably excited to receive gifts but here, my little sister is excited to gift Avanthika something related to pregnancy. Gosh, she and her stupidity. Here, Rahul whom I call my brother is busy playing Candy Crush in his phone. Like seriously?  "Dev bro! Look what I've found! I'll gift Avanthika these books." Pragya came jumping to me and handed a set of two books. I studied them carefully and they read something like, 'How To Be A Good Father' and 'Pregnant For The First Time'. Weird.

But still I nodded my head happily and Rahul grabbed those books from my hand. "Pragya, buy one more set girl. For Aradhaya and Dev. What you say, Dev?" Rahul smirked, I glared and Pragya blushed.
Okay this is something which is crossing the line."Shut up. Here I'm freaking out not understanding how to solve the issue and you're busy dreaming about my kids." I whisper-yelled at him while he just chuckled and Pragya face palmed herself, walking towards the counter to pay for the books.

-----

We entered The Chocolate Room, one of the best cafés of the city, to see Avanthika waiting for us in a corner. She slowly looked up from her phone and saw us. Her face brightened and she started waving looking at us. We too smiled and waved back. "Oh my god, Avanthika! You look so hot when you're pregnant! Gosh, come let's take some selfies dude! And you Rahul cat-wait! Avanthika, dude take this! It's a gift from my side. I don't know about these stupids bu-" Pragya as usual started her babbling but Rahul cut her off. "Oh hello madame? I paid for the books! So it's from my side too! I don't know about this donkey!" He pointed towards me. Then Pragya and Rahul started their bickering while Avanthika giggled and I face palmed myself.

"Avanthika, how are you? Is Angad taking good care?" I questioned slowly while her eyes welled up with tears. "I missed you dude." She hugged me while I hugged her back. This time it wasn't at all uncomfortable or awkward but it was friendly and comforting. "Okay so if you guys are done with your stupidity, can we order something?" Avanthika questioned. "Oh yeah whatever." Pragya sat down while Rahul imitated her. I hit Rahul on his head to which he rolled his eyes while the girls chuckled. He too sat down beside Pragya while I sat with Avanthika opposite to them.

Rahul ordered for a Coffee Frappe, Pragya wanted a Caramel Mocha, Avanthika went for Frozen Vanilla Frappe while I ordered for a Iced Cappuccino. "Okay! So let's talk about the main thing which we're here for!" Avanthika said clapping her hands after placing our order to which we all nodded. "Bro, so what's your next plan?" Pragya questioned. "I just don't know. I still can't understand what's wrong with her parents. I mean why do they want Aradhaya to misunderstand me? Why don't they want me to be happy?" I questioned lost in my own world.

"No, you're wrong Dev. Her parents don't want you to suffer but they want Aradhaya to suffer. I mean I was there when they threatened me so looking at them I don't feel they have anything grudges against but it was like they wanted Aradhaya to suffer." Avanthika told taking a sip from her frappe. "But how's that possible? I mean she's their own daughter and how can they go against her and why? This is so damn confusing." I said running my fingers through my hairs. "Well, who knows. There might be something which we're unaware of." Rahul suggested and then it hit my head.
