  (POV: Johnny)

We finally arrived at the house 30 minuets after we originally planned to. I got out and opened the door for _____. She hugged me and stood off to the side as Johnny and I went over the plan.

"Ok, Johnny, give me the stats." I said.

"The ghost shouldn't be too dangerous, it's about a level 3 or 4. It seems to be attracted to the mating call of the lettuce squirrel, but I'm not sure that will help us much, sir. Uh, let's see... oh, the ghost seems to be a gentleman, it almost levels down to a level 2 or 1 when a lady is present. Good thing you brought _____." he answered.

"Yes, but I didn't bring her to be used as a tool," I looked over at _____ and smiled, "she's my date."

"Hey, are we here to bust some ghost or stand around and talk? Let's go!" _____ exclaimed excitedly.

We all walked up to the door and I knocked. The door opened a few moments later. On the other side was a short woman with grey and pink hair. "My name is Johnny Ghost, paranormal investigator extraordinaire, this is my partner Johnny Toast and my girlfriend, _____ (L/N). We're he because we heard you had a ghost problem? Is that correct?" I introduced us.

"Watt?", the woman said before turning around and yelling, "JACKSIPOO, YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS HAVE ARRIVED!"

"Oohohoh a - boy!" said a voice that I could only assume was "Jacksipoo" (I really doubt that was his real name). A balding man in a yellow flannel shirt came running down the hallway. He was odd, but I guess that's just what happens when you live in Butts, North Carolina. "My name's Bootle Jacksipoo!" he added.

"The ghosty wosty is this - a - way! Haheahae!  he punched _____ in the arm. This kind of irked me. I didn't like anyone hurting her, or touching her at all, Jimmy didn't seem to like this either. He made this clear.

"Stab him."  he hissed in my ear.

"No, he's a client, he didn't hurt her that bad, she's fine."  I replied.

Bootle lead us to a room with nothing in it - like, at all. It was kind of weird. "Taco! Your friends have arrived!", he seemed to be yelling at the ghost, who was apparently named Taco. "I leave you four alone!!! Haheahae!" this man was really starting to bother me. Johnny and _____ seemed bothered by him, too. I could tell by the expressions on their faces.

"Hello gho - Taco!", I called out, "We are here to make contact with you!" I looked over at _____. She was standing against the wall, watching me and Johnny carefully. It made me happy that she seemed into this paranormal investigation stuff. She looked really good in my baggy sweatshirt. Maybe I'll let her keep it, I can always get a new one.

"Uh, sir, there doesn't seem to be a ghost here..." Johnny said. He had some new fancy ghost detector and it wasn't doing anything. It's not like it didn't work, we had used in a case two weeks ago. It would be severely disappointing if it had already broke.

"Hey Ghost boy! I came here to see some ghost butt kickin', not two grown men stand in an empty room and play with a ghost detector!" _____ yelled at me.

Well, long story short, there wasn't a ghost at all. The family was crazy and it turned out the ghost they thought they heard wad a muffin from the 43rd dimension. It wasn't even a taco. Delicious, but no ghost.

"I'm sorry our date didn't turn out as planned.." I apologized to _____ as we stood out in front of her house.

"Hey, I still had fun, I just love being around you." she responded.

No one spoke for a wile I looked into her (eye color) eyes, they were so deep and curious. I looked at her smile, it was so gentle and genuine. I wanted to kiss her so bad right now, but I was too scared.

"Kiss her, I've already made my popcorn! I'm waiting!" Jimmy teased me. I took a deep breath and finally mustered up enough courage to do it.

Our lips touched. I put my arms behind her back in embrace. She was so warm, so soft, and she was mine. We stayed like that for at least 40 seconds until we finally let go.

"You're a good kisser." _____ said. She smiled. I knew she was telling the truth.

  "You're better." I smiled back.

It wasn't very romantic and it was pretty short, but it was all I needed. I loved this girl and I wanted to be with her forever, and she with me.
