The Mighty Ducks were once called district-5 before Coach Bombay ever came to town. Coach Bombay taught them the game, the rules and to have fun. They taught them the compassion in the sport, the brilliance they could create and have. This is their story, plus one more.

Her name is Bella. Bella Cole. Bella wasn't the best hockey player, she wanted to play so she could be like her idol. But her life isn't the best either, she's one of the poorer kids on the block. But to her, her idol and what they do means everything. Bella wanted to be the best and have her work shown across the world. But that didn't come easy for her. She needed to work hard, play hard and get great grades.

Bella Cole is a 12 year old girl and recently joined the team of district-5. Bella has brown flowy hair, beautiful eyes that shine. Bella's got troubles and she'd rather mention them when needed or is forced to. Bella's full of smiles when she wants to be, but it'll take awhile for her real smile to appear and fake one to disapear forever.

Bella Cole's POV

I recently joined the district-5 team. There was one girl already and the rest were loud rowdy boys. I'd never seen this many boys completely out of control before. These boys had some difficulty skating, some difficulties stopping and knowing how to play. But that was only like four of out like 11 or 12 boys. I had some competition here and I knew I had to play hard in order to stay and not get rejected by these boys and girl.

The girl walked over to me and stood next to me on the side lines. I watched the others and she sighed, gave me her hand I shook it. I didn't know why she sighed exactly, but she did.

"What's the name?" She asked.

"Bella Cole, you?" I asked. She looked at me and I turned towards her.

"Connie Moreau, that's Guy, Greg, Charlie, Jesse,Les, Peter, Terry and Dave" SHe told me. I didn't know who was who. But she left before I could ask her. I wasn't bad of a skater, but I went out there and tried skating around. BUt one of the boys knocked me to the ground and left me there as he laughed. But one boy stood out, he seemed like the leader. He told the boy what to do and came over to me. The leader boy, I guess I can say, came over and lifted me up off the ground and I stood face to face with him as he stared down at me.

"You alright?" I nodded and he gave me his hand and I also shook it. He smiled and patted my back leaving to the others. I didn't really know who he was, I did just get here so that doesn't help all that much.

A limo pulled up on the ice in front of us and man wearing a long black coat and suit stood before us. I stood on the side of the group, staring at the ground while the others talked, back talked or even fooled around. But the leader was kinda being serious, but at the same time he was being a little cocky.

"You are you suppose to be?" Peter asked standing at the front of the group with Jesse.

"Your new coach, look I don't like kids and nor do I wanna to be here." He said.

"Your name?" Jesse asked.

"Gordon Bombay" He said. "Now, go shoot on the goalie while I sit in there." He walked into his car and we stood there. The others all surrounded the car and jumped on top and then went inside. I stood outside and waited, I didn't need to get into trouble from anyone just because they can't keep calm and do as told. I skated over to the hockey net and shot some goals. The limo went around on the ice a couple times until someone's mother came and demanded that the car be stopped at that instant.

"Oh, its my mom!" The leader called.

"Charlie! Get out of that car right now!" Charlie, the leader, got out and walked over to his mom not wanting to leave but had to. Charlie left with his mother while the rest of us went home early. But I, out of all the kids, got stopped by Mr. Bombay. From the corner of my eye I could see one or two of the boys looking at us, they were eyeing us the whole time.

"Hey, kid. Got a name?"

"Bella Cole." He nodded and looked around and then went back to me.

"Thanks for not jumping into my car back there. Anyways, what are the names of the kids and how good are you guys?"

"Anytime, coach. I don't really know their names. I only know that the other girl's name is Connie Moreau. And we're not that good, if you can tell by how half of them skate." I said. He nodded and said thanks as he got in his car. I sat on the side and took my skates off and put my running shoes back on. I'll come in roller skates maybe tomorrow if I feel like it.

I walked to my home. I lived in a small place. Three bedroom place, two floors and that was about it. I didn't have much, but I had all the things I really needed. My idol, some friends, the smarts and hockey. I love it, but I can't play it that well. So I joined a team so I could become better and be like my idol. I'll tell ya later on who my Idol is, you may or may not know him. But I am not guaranteeing anything for ya either.

I walked into my house and shut the door quietly walking over to the couch and setting my skates on the floor next to me. The house was quiet and I knew there were only two people in this house, me and my brother. My brother's 16 years old and is my world. He protects me in ways my parents should. My parents fight a lot and most of the time, my brother takes me out of the house so he and I can get away from all of it. Its a great stress reliever. We go to his buddy's place near the high school.

I closed my eyes slowly as he came down the stairs asking me a question. I ignored it since I fell asleep on the couch from the rough day I had.
