Hawks VS Ducks

Bella's POV

Adam and I skated around on the ice with the Ducks while we waited for the game to start. I was ready to play, I saw my brother and his girl up in the stands watching us. I smiled, no one because it was under my helmet. Coach called us over and Adam and I skated towards the bench. I pulled my cage up of my helmet and looked at coach waiting for his orders.

"Okay, Banks, Cole, Charlie, Guy and Averman, you're on. Goldberg you got this." Coach said. I was starting off with Charlie and Adam, cool. We went to face off and Adam started against McGill. The puck dropped and Adam got pushed to the ground and the Hawks got to the puck. Guy went up to get the puck but he got knocked over. Larson was coming up with the puck and I went after him, but he moved quickly to the right and got the puck in quickly. Man, if they're this fast then I don't know what will happen next.

I took the puck and went down the ice with it, I passed it to Charlie right before a Hawk flipped me over their back. I got back up and went to our end of the ice to try and help the guys get the puck back. McGill and two other Hawks passed the puck between each other and then scored once again. 2-0 again. Adam stayed up by the Hawks net so we could try and stay open and help the guys if they needed it. Charlie came down with the puck and needed some help. Adam got out from where he was and helped Charlie. He skated around with the puck for awhile, confusing everyone and then made a run for it. He skated fast down the ice and scored a goal for our team.

We all huddled together and cheered for our first goal. Larson came up the ice with puck and Guy went up to him and flipped him over. Averman grabbed the puck from Charlie and skated down the ice, he passed it to me and I skated fast down the ice and stopped in front of the net, putting ice all over their goalie. I took a shot and got the puck between his legs. I smiled and went over to the others and cheered. The Hawks called time out and we went back to our side.

"Great job Banks, Bella." Banks and I nodded. "Good play, but we can't let them get any more goals. Goldberg keep an eye on the puck. I want to see the flying "v"." We nodded and went back out onto the ice. Charlie and the guys told Jesse to go front since all he had to do was shoot and he didn't really know the flying "v". Averman and Guy got switched for Terry and Jesse. Banks and Terry were the middle and Charlie and I were the ones at the back brining the puck up.

Charlie passed it to Banks who was in front of me and then passed it to Jesse. Each of us took on a Hawk and pushed them over to the ground. Jesse scored again and that gave us the lead by one point. The Hawks started to get mad. They were making a plan while we were waiting. Charlie skated over to me and told me to watch out. They were really mad and they were going to come after all of us. I nodded and he skated back to where he was.

We started again, it was the end of the period and coach wanted us all to give the puck to Banks so he could take a shot. I came up the ice with the puck and Charlie blocked the guy in front of me. I passed it to Jesse and then pushed one of the Hawks to the ground. He passed it Banks and right behind him was McGill. McGill pushed Adam and he went forwards and landed on his stomach. He hit the post of the net and got the goal, but he didn't look okay. I skated towards him and Larson was there.

"Adam, are you okay?" Adam didn't respond. He wasn't awake, he got knocked out when he got the post. Larson looked up at McGill. "What did you do?"

"My job." McGill replied with a smile. He left and I got up and followed him. I pushed McGill to the ground and he got back pushing me. I didn't fall, but I body checked him into the boards. The ref came and gave us both 2 minutes, me for body checking him into the boards and then him for pushing Adam down hard from behind.

"I'm out coach!" I said, I wasn't actually out but he knew what I meant. Coach nodded and put Connie in to replace me. The second period finished and he took Charlie off, replacing him with Tammy and then replaced Adam with Fulton. At the end it was 3-4 us. We were winning by one again. BUt I had a feeling that they were going to step up their game.
