Jealous

Charlie's POV

"Anyone know the answer?" The teacher asked. Everyone stayed quiet, no one really likes math and the only kid really loved it, was at home sick today. "Bella?"

There was no response from here. I turned and looked at her, she was asleep. Man, we're blind. She's been asleep for about 45 minutes now and no one noticed or no one said a word to the teacher about it. Goldberg tapped her shoulder to wake her up and it didn't work.

"Bella Cole!" The teacher called. She shot up after awhile and looked around.

"We're still in math?" She asked.

"Yeah." Everyone said.

"Bella, did you have late practice last night?" The teacher asked her.

"No."

"Then why are you sleeping in my class?" He asked her.

"I went to sleep later last night."

"What time?"

"Do you really need to know what time?" He was serious with her and I assume we were all wondering what time she went to sleep last night. She won't be able to play at practice if she's dead tired right now and falling asleep during class. "One in the morning, sir." She was getting up to leave.

"Where you going Mrs. Cole?"

"Class is over in a minute." He nodded and let us all go. I got up and walked next to her while she headed to her locker. I have all my things and am going to science class next with the other guys. A girl stopped at her locker and kept looking at me, smiling and I was uncomfortable with her friend there looking at me.

"Keanna, go ahead to class. I'll catch up in a minute." Bella said and her friend left. Finally, that girl was either leaving or I was leaving first to get away from her. "Don't mind her, she's got an insane crush on you. Too bad, hun?"

"That girl does?" She nodded. "Well, you call tell her that my heart is set on some other girl."

"Cool, does she go to this school." I nodded, I am not telling Bella that that girl is her. I don't need chaos, what if she doesn't like me back? So for now, I'll keep it a huge secret for a long while or until were closer as friends. "Well, I should get to class, Charlie. I'll see you in gym later." I nodded and left. I headed down to science class with the others.

Bella's POV

"So, does he like me?" Keanna asked me. I shook my head no, she seemed a little down now. But she also liked Adam Banks and Guy Germaine. But Guy was already taken by Connie, so she only had Adam left since Charlie likes another girl and Guy's taken.

"He likes some other girl."She nodded.

"Well, once I figure out who that girl is. She won't live to see tomorrow." I got a little scared for what ever girl that Charlie liked. I didn't want to be put in the girl's place. She'll be hurtin' until tomorrow because Keanna does karate. I walked with her into science class and I was awake now. I don't think I'll fall asleep for a long time now. Her and I sat at the back of the class and talked for awhile until we got told to do our work with our partners.

I was stuck with Cameron. He's a kid in my class and is one of the smartest kids in the class. Just like me. I always do my homework and hand it in before the due date. I am always in the 90s for scores. I'm an A student with Cameron. Keanna is more of a 75-80s kinda girl, which is still good. I don't mind people with low grades, we're all the same and some have difficulties with learning it, that's all.

Cameron and I went to the library to work on our project together. We had to make an ecosystem. Any kind, ocean, water, park, anywhere. We decided to a river and draw all the animals that were in there. I made the plan while he did further research on what animals that we didn't know were in the ecosystem of a river. He showed me this one animal with some weird name I couldn't pronounce and we laughed.

I saw Charlie pass by, he was headed for the water fountains. He was a little down when I walked by him. I told Cameron that I was going to get some water. I left the library and went to the fountain where Charlie was. I cleared my throat and crossed my arms.

"You alright, Charlie?" I asked.

"What, yeah. Why?"

"Are you jealous?" I asked.

"No. I think you're a perfect match for Cameron." He told me.

"I'm not talking about that, Charlie. And Cameron's just a friend. I've known him for so long. Don't worry about him, if that's what's on your mind." He sighed.

"It's not that. You said last night went alright and that you went to bed late. Did your mom hit you?" I shook my head.

"No. She was in her room all night. Gage made her upset. But he and I talked for awhile before he had to leave so he didn't get stuck in the snow storm." He nodded and we started heading back towards his class and the library doors.

"What'd he say that was so bad?"

"Said he was going to California. He got a scholarship there for next to semester to play over there. So he will and his girlfriend's going over there too. But my mom doesn't know about his girl being there. And weren't not going to tell her." I explained to Charlie. He nodded and I stopped at me doors and he left down the hall smiling. Guess he thought that I left back inside the library.

"Hey, Bella. Look at this animal. It's like a eel mixed with a lizard!" Cameron called from the one of the tables in the library. I sat next to him and continued on our plan to for the river ecosystem.

He and I worked until it was time for lunch. I planned on eating with some of my other friends that are in my usual classes today. I sat by Keanna and Emma, Cameron and Ryland  sat in front of us. Keanna and Ryland started up a truth or dare game again.

"Who do you like?" Ryland asked Keanna. I already knew, but he was asking so her face would turn red when he shouts out who she likes. Everyone knew that Ryland would do that to her, he's done it to Cameron two weeks ago.

"Um, Charlie Conway, Guy Germaine and Adam Banks."

"Adam Banks? The rich kid who plays for the Hawks?" Cameron asked.

"Woah, he plays for the Ducks now." They all looked confused. "My team, they play for my team." They nodded and understood now. Ryland was going to yell out who Keanna liked but she beat him to it and yelled out who he liked. One of them was Connie, another was me and then there was Emma. Emma started to laugh and laugh because she knew that that would never happen. Ryland got mad and got up, he pushed Keanna to the ground.

"Ohh!" Emma, Cameron and I yelled along with some other people. I stood up and sat on the table and placed my feet on the bench and watched Ryland pin Keanna to the ground.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Everyone at our table screamed and we had our hands in the air wanting them to fight. Literally everyone could see me cheering them on and calling their names. I saw the guys from the team and Connie at the other table looking over here at my table.

"Break it up!" The principal yelled. I sat there laughing as they were getting in trouble. They got hauled up to their feet by the principal and I was still laughing with Cameron and Emma next to me. "Let's go Bella, Cameron and Emma." We got up and followed them out of the lunch room. Cameron screamed good luck to everyone else. Which got him into some more trouble.

"Sit down" The assistant principal said. We all sat down and waited until someone came to get us. Or tell us what to do. It was boring, so the three of us who got in the least amount of trouble talked for the rest of the time until we got hauled into the office.
