Madelyn’s POV

We got back to our room and texted family to tell them the new baby was here. We called Pattie and she brought the kids, all of whom were still awake. But we didn’t realize that Paige had called everybody and they were all waiting to see us. They must’ve bribed the nurses, since they all got to come in at once.

“It’s a girl!” Selena cheered when she walked into the room and saw the pink bundle in my arms. She was the last person I expected to see tonight.

“Sel! Why are you here? You have your own newborn daughter at home you should be with!” I exclaimed.

“I had to make sure that this little baby was a girl.” She laughed. “I told you so. I can’t believe they are only five days apart. I’m certain they are going to be best friends.”

“Oh she is so cute.” Ashley peered at her.

Everybody took turns looking at the gorgeous baby in my arms, but I wasn’t quite ready to hand her over to anyone else. She was my last baby. I wanted to hold her and remember the first minutes of her life. Justin had held her for a couple of minutes, but I had been anxious to get her back. But after only a few minutes, the kids and Pattie arrived.

“Hey guys, do you want to see your new sister?” I asked them excitedly.

“A sister?!” Aniston asked disgusted. Everyone laughed at her. She had wanted a baby brother. But really, the only sisterly experience she had was from Stella, who wasn’t great at sisterly love.

“Oh stop. She’s precious.” I laughed as Justin lifted them up onto the bed so they could get a closer look. They all took a good look at her, but none of them were really quite as enthralled with her as we were. Kingston could’ve cared less. He was much more interested in playing with Ryan and Alfredo. Stella wasn’t thrilled she was no longer the baby of the family, but Ashley doted on her and made her feel a little better. And Aniston was upset it wasn’t a boy.

Justin’s POV

“Wait a minute, does she have a name yet?” Selena asked suddenly.

“Oh!” I cried out laughing. We had been a little preoccupied with fixing our marriage. We hadn’t talked about names at all. “We hadn’t even gotten that far.”

“You can name her.” Madelyn smiled at me. “You’re the reason she’s here. You name her.”

“What about Aria? Aria Grace?” I had liked the name for a while, but I didn’t think Madelyn would like it.

            “I love it.” Madelyn beamed.

“Well then, Aria Grace it is.” I leaned in and kissed her. It felt so good to be back together with her. It was then that we noticed people were watching us intently.

“Wait, are guys are back together?” My mom exclaimed.

“Can’t you tell? We aren’t arguing.” Madelyn laughed.

“Take a family picture of us, Fredo.” I requested. It took a little bit of coaxing to get the kids to even look at the camera, but eventually we got a new family picture.

After all of our friends got a chance to look at the baby, they said goodnight and went home. It was clear that our other kids were tired and whiny, something no one really wanted to be around.
