Quick Note: I had an idea for a follow up of 'Feelings are too complex' and even though it was only supposed to be a oneshot I couldn't let the idea go. So this takes place a few months after the previous one but it can be a standalone thing.

"Erik don't forget you've got your appointment with Janos at 4. I should be home by then but if not I've got my key so I can let myself in while you're there." Charles called from the kitchen as he waited for the kettle to finish boiling and the coffee maker to finish whatever it was doing.
"You forgot about these test papers that you were marking all night." Erik emerged from the bedroom in his work suit carrying a folder stuffed full of paper.
"Oh, thank you love. God knows what I'd have done if I'd forgotten them. Your coffee just finished brewing." Charles plucked the folder out of Erik's hand and gestured vaguely to where the coffee maker was. Erik hummed and poured himself a mug.
"Did you want toast?" Erik asked as he blew on his coffee before taking a sip.
"No thanks, I've got to go and get dressed and hopefully I'll have enough time to finish this cup. We're both running late this morning." Erik put two slices in the toaster for himself before turning to where Charles was adding milk to his tea.
"And who's fault is it that we're late in the first place?" He asked casually.
"Yes, I admit it was mine. And you'll have to tell Janos about the deviation from the timetable. You're improving but we both know that he has to know." Charles knew that Erik hated telling his therapist everything about his sex life but he should have been used to it by now.
"Okay I will but I don't think it'll matter that much." Erik grumbled into his mug.
"Erik you're already late, eat your toast on the way!" Charles shouted from the bedroom. Erik rolled his eyes, quickly buttered his toast, and headed for the front door. He returned a minute later.
"It's on the coffee table!" Erik sighed and picked up his briefcase that was indeed on the coffee table.
