By God hadn't Erik had a stressful day at the garage. When he had first started as a mechanic and owning his own business had been a dream too far away in the distance he hadn't thought that it would be that difficult. But how wrong had he been. Now that he had his own garage, own staff and his own long list of clientele, he often found himself wondering whether he had made the right career choices. He liked his job, most of the time he was happy to just work on sorting out car problems all day everyday. Thanks to his mutation he could understand the mechanics of the cars way better than any of his co-workers and sometimes they even joked about how he has better relationships with the cars than he does other people. It's not true, but he would rather spend a night fixing a car than go out for the night with the people he works with.

As soon as he opened the front door to the apartment he was assaulted with the sound of loud music coming from somewhere within. He dropped his briefcase by the front door and dumped his keys in the bowl on the side table.

He walked through the living room and over to his record player and stereo system. He had recognised the album that was playing as soon as he had heard it, it was one of Queen's later albums that he didn't play very often but he knew that Charles loved it.

He didn't turn the music off but he did turn the volume down a little, the last thing they needed was the neighbours complaining. Then he heard singing.

Charles didn't have the greatest singing voice in the world but he wasn't so bad that Erik wanted to cover his ears everytime he heard it, it was coming from the bedroom towards the rear of the apartment.

The bedroom door was shut but Charles singing came through loud and clear, Erik could just imagine Charles sat there on the bed marking essays while singing along to 'Under Pressure'. What greeted him when he opened the door was quite a bit different to what he had thought.

Charles was wearing a pair of boxers and what was definitely one of Erik's shirts and he had a feather duster in hand, what really cracked Erik up though was the dancing and jumping around the man was doing. Erik couldn't stop his laughter and he had to hold onto the door handle for support as Charles suddenly stopped his dancing and turned round to see he had an audience.

"Oh hello love, good day at work?" Charles' innocent face nearly had Erik on the floor.
