"How about this one, this looks nice." Erik comments as he walks past a grey steel oven. Charles looks up from where he was looking at the microwaves.

"Alright, how much?" He asked as he took one last look at a nice 800 Watt microwave that would be nice but cost a bit too much for their budget.

"Um, £599.99, quite cheap compared to these other ones." Erik said and Charles frowned, that was way too expensive for a microwave.

"Are you sure you've read it right?" He said and he started walking over to where Erik was. As soon as he realised what section of the store Erik was standing in he chuckled and shook his head. Erik could be so adorable at times.

"Yeah of course I have." Erik said looking behind him once he sensed Charles walking towards him. The smaller man came up behind Erik and put his arm around his waist. Immediately Erik put his own arm protectively around Charles' shoulders.

"Darling, we're here for a microwave, not an oven." Charles said with a small sigh. He looked at the steel oven. He had to admit it was nice, but not what they came here for. Erik looked down at him with a confused frown.

"They're the same aren't they?" He said, Charles looked up and saw his expression. Charles smiled fondly up at him.

"Erik, they're very different. Microwaves are those over there." He said pointed over to where he had just come from. Erik frowned, looking at the rows of microwaves.

"How are they different? They both cook the food you want." Charles couldn't help but laugh, he leaned in closer to his boyfriend and put his other free hand on his chest.

"Erik, you're three hundred years old. How can you not know the difference." Erik looked a little put out, so Charles settled on trying to explain later. This wasn't the first time that Erik had been confused by technology, the time Erik had tried to use Charles's mobile was still a fond memory.

"Come on, there's a nice one over here that I quite like." Charles said as he led Erik over to where the microwave he had been admiring earlier was.
