I decided on a dress my mom just bought me. I'm glad I did laundry yesterday because if I didn't nothing would be clean, and I mean nothing! I chose a black strapless dress that goes to about my knees, and has a heart-line top. I put my hair in a bun and curled the little ends in front of my face. I put on light but sparkly make-up and did my nails while I waited. Just as I finished I heard a knock on the door.
"Hello?" I opened the door.
"Wow, you look," he seems like he has never been on a date before, "gorgeous."
"You don't look that bad yourself." I joke.
"Now that theater and dinner won't wait forever." He said intertwining his fingers with mine.
"Then we shall leave." I smile locking the door behind me.
The car smelled like flowers and rain. The smell calmed my anxiety and the latched hands made me warm up as fast as the heater. We talked for the whole ride and everything I was worried about disappeared in front of my face. When we got into the building it was really fancy and beautiful.
"This is beautiful." I say spinning in a small circle.
"Like you." He said stopping me and bringing me in for a kiss.
"What movie is it?" I ask with his arm around my waist.
"It's actuall a play." He showed the old grouchy looking woman our tickets.
"I love plays!" I noticed how dorky I sounded but he smiled for me.
"Perfect." He pulled out my chair and kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear something that made me blush and get the shivers.
Trevors POV
"Okay just knock." I took a deep breath and knocked on the door after staring at it for five minutes.
"Hey." He looked down.
"You look great." I complimented.
"You too." He stepped out of the door way and locked the door behind him.
He was wearing jeans and a black long sleeve button up. When we arrived at the restaurant we sat down and began to talk a little more he learned a little about me like I have only dated two people and I learned some things about him like he's a veggie monster as Lyra calls it. We talked and ordered and I've grown to like this idea of him and I.
Lyras POV
"This food is great!" I say trying to be quiet so we don't get shushed again.
"I know that's why I chose here."
"This play kind of sucks." I giggle.
"Agreed. Wanna blow this Popsicle stand?" He smiled.
"I'd rather leave." He blushes at my perverted remark.
"Let's go then." He stood up.
"Where shall we go?" I ask hopping the th car.
"We can go back to my place."
"Okay!" I buckle my belt.
"My roommate may be home though."
"That's okay."
We stayed silent for almost the whole ride but when we reached his parking lot he spoke up, "can I tell you something?"
"Anything." I say grabbing his hand.
"Trevor and I dated for two and a half year and we lived together for one and a half of those years and we broke up a few weeks ago. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I was going to at dinner but you looked like you were having so much un ad you kept this huge smile on your face and you laughed a lot and," I pulled his face to mine and we sat there and I didn't think the first time I made out with someone was going to be in a car.
I like him a lot. Normally on a first date I would never kiss let alone make out with someone but with him it just feels right, too right.
Trevors POV
"That was nice." Ty says giving me one of his amazing smiles.
"It was wasn't it." I say with an even bigger smile.
"This is the best date I have ever been on really. I haven't been on many but it was great." He began to stutter.
His hazel eye sparkled like the stars that were out tonight and me staring at him got him quiet. Now's my chance. I leaned in a kissed him not moving until he did and he didn't.
"Tyler is that," a girl with blondish hair opened the door, "I'm sorry I didn't realize,"
"Lana it's fine. This is Trevor he's the one who took me out tonight." Tyler smiled.
"Ohhhhhhh, you can come in if you want."
"No thanks I have to go." I say giving Tyler a hug and shook Lana's hand.
"How great!" I smiled as I got into the car.
Lyras POV
"Yeah she's home." He said as we walked up the stairs.
"How do you know?" I ask when I should be asking SHE?!
"I can smell her perfume and her car was in her spot." He fumbled with his keys.
"Now this she?" I sounded totally jealous.
"Don't worry," he smiled, "she likes girls."
I laughed a little, "even better."
"Lilya! I am home." He called out.
"Did you say Lilya?" Before he could answer there she was.
"Wait you're Lyra!" She said.
"That's me!" I felt a little awkward.
"Yeah you're Connors friend."
"Yes I am!" I tried not to act weird. Too late.
"Well have fun you two!" She grabbed her keys and walked out of the room.
"Now where were we." He laughed picking me up while I let out a little shriek.
