Chapter 14- Questions

Lyras POV

*Knock knock*

I hope I'm not interrupting anything. I am ten minutes early, but he should know by now that I always am.

"Hey Lyra." That Lilac girl answered the door.

"Uh hi." Was that her name?

"Connor is sleeping but I can wake him if you want to leave now." She has the sweetest smile.

"No, he hasn't been sleeping much because of work. We could always have him catch up later." I say forgetting that she likes our kind.

"Oh I forgot about his new work hours. Yeah I'll leave him a note and we can scaddatle." She laughed causing me to let a little giggle slip.

"Well there I left him a note and I silenced his phone and sent him a text in case he doesn't find it for some Connorfyed reason." She looks at me like she has asked me a question and I see her standing by the keys.

"We can go in my car, if you want." I manage.

"You sure?"

"Positive!" I try to smile like her but it feels weird.

She grabbed her purse and she followed me to my car. Her face lit up when she saw my car and I opened the door for her. She got all excited when it started itself and the seat warmed up. We decided to go to Olive Garden and get an early lunch so we can do the girly thing and shop for the rest the day.

As we were eating questions popped in my head that I had to know, "so Sam told me you play for the other team."

"Yep!" She was still really happy.

"Can I just ask all the questions in my mind? I don't want to be nosy or make you feel weird." I took another bite of my bread stick.

"No, no, no it's fine go ahead. This is something that does not bother me!" She never loses her gorgeous smile.

"How long have you like girls? Have you ever dated one? Have you dated a boy?" I ask one after another.

"Lets see, four years, yes for for four years, and yes for a year." She giggles when answered.

"Are you still dating her?" Our food arrived.

"No, Vivian and I broke up a few months ago but we're still really good friends." She lost her smile.

"Is it any different to kiss a girl?" I blurt and her smile came back immediately.

"Other than being a lot softer no not really." She slips a giggle through her glossy lips.

*Movie at 7 you guys in??* -Con

"You in for a movie?" I ask as she has her Bright smile on and eating.

"Most definitely!"

*Totally!!!!! See you then!*

"Hey tonight I'm having a party and you can come, if you want. Nothing special just a little slumber party." She put more food into her face.

  "I'd love too." I paid, grabbed her hand and we headed to the mall.

We shopped and shopped and shopped some more. We didn't stop until we noticed that everyone has tried to contact us. We left our phones in the car so we could get to know each other as well as possible and by the end of the day we acted like we've been friends for years. I had a missed call from my mom, a text from Connor, Trevor, and two from Ricky. I replied and texted my mom instead and we headed over to the movies as we talk some more and enjoy our white girl crack (Starbucks) Tyler gave us.

*After the movie*

"Great movie!" I said stretching.

"Totally. Best documentary I've seen." Connor supposed his coffee.

"It was amazing! Oh are you still coming to the all-girls party?" she exaggerated all-girls because of the wild Connor next to us.

"Uh duh." I try to sound like a 12 year old trying to make a point.

"Great do you just want to go there from here?" She sat on Connors lap.

"I need clothing and toiletries." 

"Oh then we can stop at your place before," I nod and she opens her mouth again, "I need to pee brb!"

"She's a catch isn't she." He laughed.

"Pretty much." I took a sip of his whatever he got and asked, "are you the guy she dated for a year?"

"She told you about that?" He took back his drink.

"No names except Vivian." He almost chocked.

"She told you about Vivian?" 

"Yeah, something wrong?" I questioned.

"No, just surprised and yes I was her man of the year." He smiled.

"Ready to go?" She asked grabbing her satchel and pulling it over her shoulder.

"Yeah. Bye Conabon!" I kiss his cheek and gave him a hug, Lylia did the same.

"See you later ladies!" He blew kisses and we all laughed.

He stayed because he has to work later and we made our way to the car. Great my first party, well sleepover is with a bunch of  hormonal 16 and 17 year old girls. How else was it going to work out? That I have no answer too and probably never will.

"Everything okay?" Lylia wondered.

"Yeah," I let out my breath, "just thinking." I smiled and she gave me one back and turned up the radio and jammed along.

(I was going to do the party scene mixed into this chapter but it would have been way too long so Chapter 15 will be all about the party! I'm using some of my friend/readers names so they won't be Lana original XD Okay guys it's late and I have school tomorrow and PLEASE don't forget to comment, vote, and share.
