"What the fuck was that?" The boss voiced aloud, dialling a few number on his mobile.

Camila had let loose her grip on the hammer and was no longer holding it. She was now more curious to why a gunshot was fired.

"Pablo, calm down," The boss spoke into his phone. "Okay, now explain what is happening." A few moments passed of the short man listening to his device until his face dropped completely. "Shit. She's here for the girl." He said in a low-clipped tone whilst staring at Camila.

"Is Lauren here?" Camila asked desperately.

The man scowled at the younger girl and mumbled something into the phone, which Camila couldn't quite make out, before ending the call.

"We need to do this. And fast."

"I told you that I don't have the fucking password."

"Okay, I see how it is. Look kid, I'm on a tight schedule enough as it is and now it's even tighter because your girlfriend chose to make an entrance," Camila internally smiled at the fact that Lauren came back to save her. "So I'm going to have to make this quick." The boss reaches into his pocket, looking for a weapon of some sort, Camila thought. But, when he failed at finding it he cursed. "Wait right here. I've got something for you."

When Camila was finally alone, she scoped the room for an exit that she could access, since her foot hindered her from any climbing.

"Fuck there's no way out." She hissed aloud and carefully slumped back down, trying not to damage her foot more than it already was.

Camila closed her eyes and began to sob quietly, she had a gut wrenching feeling that this was the end for her. She had no clue what the password was and she didn't know if Lauren had put herself in unnecessary danger just to save her. Every aspect of her life came crumbling to pieces right before her eyes and there was nothing she could do about it besides cry her heart out...and that's what she did. What started out as quiet sobbing turned into hysterical rivers flooding out of her chocolate orbs. She was convinced that she was crying harder than when her foot got shattered. The boss was bound to come in any moment, gun at hand, and make her life, memories, hopes and dreams disappear with one bullet through her brain.

A distant tapping noise was heard in between Camila's sobs. Camila didn't even realise that there was now gun shots going off repeatedly, one after another. But, she still managed to hear that tapping noise which was growing increasingly louder into a banging vibration. The younger girl averted her gaze to the glass ceiling, and followed it to the root of the noise which was the corner of the glass. There was Alec banging with all his might on the glass miming her name, 'camila'.

"Alec!" Camila shouted and steadily rose to her feet.

Alec was pointing to a machine in the corner of the room, signalling that Camila should press some buttons or pull a leaver; Camila wasn't entirely sure what he was trying to get her to do.

Camila hobbled over towards the machine with two red leavers and three different coloured buttons.

"Which one?" Camila mimed to Alec, knowing he wouldn't hear her if she shouted, also not wanting the boss to hear her plan to escape.

Alec mimed the name of the contraction she should use but Camila couldn't quite make it out, she had never been good at reading lips. The dark-haired boy rolled his eyes and started to mimic the action of pulling a leaver and then Camila finally caught on.

Camila pointed towards one of the leavers and Alec shook his head and mimed the words, "the other one."

"This one?" Camila mimed as she pointed to the red leaver on her left-hand side and the boy shook his head in a 'yes' motion.

Camila pulled the leaver down hard and the roof began to part to reveal a moon-lit sky scattered with stars.

"Here! Grab this," Alec gestured towards the rope he had thrown down for Camila. "Climb up this."

"Alec, I can't climb. My foot it's-"

"Oh shit. I know, I heard about it. Can you at least try?"

Camila began to heave her body up on the rope but couldn't get any further than a few feet.

"I can't, Alec." Camila screamed in panic. The boss was going to come in and find her trying to escape, he'd already been gone to long.

"Hold on tight, I'll lift you up." Alec offered but before Camila could reject, which she definitely wouldn't have anyway since she had no other options left, Alec began tugging harshly on the rope.

The brunette was being successfully lifted into the air by Alec.

"Alec!" Camila shouted, gaining the boy's attention. "How did you know which leaver to press?" She asked. She was now close to the top and could start to feel the cold night air run down her body.

"I didn't. I guessed. Paid off though, huh?" Alec smiled, causing Camila to chuckle lightly.

Not even a moment later, Camila was being hoisted up onto the roof with Alec, where she stood looking for Lauren.

"Lauren!" Camila shouted, hoping to find some reaction from the older girl.

"Camila! Is that you?" A voice replied from not too far away. "Baby, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm okay. I'm with Alec."

"Camila, stop shouting you'll draw attention from-"

"From who?" A familiar voice spoke, interfering with what Alec was saying. A sinking feeling was felt in the pit of Camila's stomach. "From little old me?" Camila turned her head to see herself and Alec being held at gunpoint by the boss himself.

"Fuck." Alec hissed.

Suddenly Lauren came running around the corner to follow her girlfriend's voice, only to find the love of her life in the hands of the boss.

"Don't come any closer because I will not hesitate to shoot either one of them," The voice shouted. Lauren stayed deadly still, making eye contact with Camila. "Now, why don't you come inside Lauren," two of the boss's men came behind Lauren and viciously gripped onto her arms, restricting her from any moment, which she wasn't going to do anyway since she was not going to risk anyone's life. "We have a lot to talk about."

(A/N) hey everyone. I'm pretty proud of myself because of this double update! Crazy, right?

Anyway, I wanted to talk about Camila's departure of the band. Despite the fact that I'm completely devastated, I do not hold a grudge on her whatsoever. The reason I am stating this is because I've seen claimed harmonizers bash her to such an extent I ended up in tears (btw I never said all harmonizers, only some). We're all supposed to be a family that supports each other, even if you disagree with the decision she is making just remember it's for her happiness. In my opinion, I'd rather see Camila be happy and do what she wants, rather than be sad with doing something she's forced to do. Even though the band will never be the same without Camila's presence I will obviously still support and idolise the band as I do now because I love them all dearly. I'm quite looking forward the band's new music as well as Camila's new music also. Also, I thought that I'd mention that this does not mean I'm done with writing camren fanfic (otp for life), after this book has finished I have an idea for another! Remember guys, spread love not hate.

Lots of love,
Sherry x
