'Hiya Mum, Just got home from school, i guess you are in a meeting and that's why you didn't pick up, anyway just saying that i got home safe and that i love you, byeeeee' I recorded the same answerphone message that i did everyday after school.

I climbed the stairs two at a time and swung the door to my room closed behind me, throwing my school bags into the corner as I did so. My phone started flashing up with notifications as soon as i plugged it in and connected to the internet

I quickly reply to Hannah and Katie saying that i cant and that I have to help my mum out with something at work ( bad excuse i know but they wouldn't question my mum as they are scared of her)

and I messaged Mollie  back saying that i would call her at 7pm my time (8pm hers) and saying happy 8 months back.

I should probably explain that Mollie is my internet friend and we started talking 8 months ago today, she has been with me through thick and thin and she one of my best friends.

Hannah and Katie  are my friends from school, i have known them since i was 3 (at pre-school) but now all they care about are boys and getting drunk at parties every weekend whereas i am more of a - stay at home watching movies and eating takeaway pizza - kinda girl.

I jumped as I heard the door slam from downstairs signalling that my mum was home

'Hey Honey, Can you come down here for a second please' my mum yells up the stairs
'Sure one sec' I pause my music and shout back
