Chapter 13

Luke's P.O.V

As eager as I was to "go after" Nicole like Jess had suggested, I knew it wouldn't be that easy. I couldn't just bail on the guys and go to Indiana. We were in the middle of touring America.

Me and the guys were all on the bus just chilling and talking as we were finally back on the road.

"So where is our next stop on the tour?" realizing that I didn't even know where we were headed.

"I think Chicago." Ashton said looking at Calum and Michael.

"Yeah, it says Chicago." Calum said checking our schedule.

I suddenly felt my phone buzz in my pocket, causing me to jump a little. I almost completely forgot about my phone. I had so much going through my mind, I'm surprised I didn't check it to see if I got a message from Nicole. And it turns out I did.

I silently read her message and I couldn't help but smile at the last part.

'I've fallen for you Luke.'

I looked up from my phone to find the guys all watching me.

"What are you all smiley about?" Ashton asked, teasing me in his high pitched voice.

I chuckled, embarrassed and they continued to look at me as if waiting for an answer.

"Oh, I just got a message from Nicole."

"Oooh what'd she say?!" Calum asked suddenly interested.

"She just told me that she was sorry for leaving suddenly and she didn't want me to worry."

I decided to leave out the part where Nicole told me how she felt about me. I knew that if I told the guys right now they would bother me about it all the way to Chicago.

I got up and went to my bunk, I needed some space. I looked down at my phone, my fingers frozen above the keys. For some reason I was thinking way to hard about what I was going to say to her.

Hey Nicole, I just read your message. I'm glad your okay. I'm not gunna lie, you scared the shit out of me...why didn't you just tell me that you couldn't come with us on tour? I talked to Jess earlier...I would've understood if you just told me that you couldn't come. I should've thought it through before I asked you though, I don't know what I was thinking. I just really want to be with you. I've fallen for you too Nicole.

I decided to stop there and I sent the message.

I laid back in my bunk just staring at the ceiling for a little while. What was gunna happen next? Me and Nicole both admitted that we like each other. All I wanted was to see her right now. I wanted so bad to tell her that in person. I had to see her. And then I got to thinking...I don't even know where Indiana is.

I got on my phone and typed in 'Indiana' on google.

A hand appeared in the corner of my eye, pulling the curtain to my bunk. I looked away from my phone to see Michael looking at me.

"What are you doing?" Michael asked, his eyes gazing from me to my phone that was lighting up my bunk.

"Just looking up where Indiana is.." I replied. Why did he care?

"Oh cool. So where is it?" He asked.

"It looks like its about three hours from Chicago." I answered, looking at the map comparing it to where I'd be and where Nicole is.

"Really? So are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Michael asked raising his eyebrows at me.

"What?" I asked suspicious.
