Chapter 2

Chapter 2    

                  Struggling against my attacker, I tried to scream through his fingers, but to my despair, no one could here me. My attacker had dragged me to the side of the building, away from everyone else. I sighed, then stopped struggling, noticing the scent of the cologne. My boyfriend's cologne. My 'attacker' let go of me, and I whirled around to face him.

                      "WHAT. THE. HELL.WAS.THAT!?!" I spat at him, enraged. "Kyles, calm down." My boyfriend, Xavier said, chuckling at my reaction. He pulled me into a hug, and I pushed away from him. "Kylie..." He said, hurt clear in his eyes. "Don't 'Kylie' me!" I yelled. "Normal people don't just go around attacking others! Especially if they're your GIRLFRIEND!" He smiled at me, then wrapped his strong arms around my waist. "Babe..." He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "I'm the normal one, everyone else are just individuals." I smiled up at him, and kissed him on the cheek. "I know, Xavier, I'm sorry for overreacting." I apologized. "S'ok Kyles., I'm sorry too." He responded, kissing my nose. He smiled, taking my hand in his and placing it against his chest. I leaned against him, breathing in his scent, enjoying our closeness.

                       "Hey!" Someone yelled from behind us. "Kids, could you please spare us the PDA? We both know you're crazy about each other, and just plain crazy, but could you keep your hands off of each other for one minute?" We both turned around and faced my two best friends, Holly Green and Mina Gerette. I smiled at Mina's reaction, she was obviously disgusted. Holly on the other hand? Laughing her head off. I blushed as Xavier's arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I smiled up at him as he said. "Mina, you know that there's no way that Kylie can resist my charm." We both laughed as Mina fake gagged. "Well..." She said, throwing her hands up in defeat. "I'll see you later, okay babe?" I whispered in Xavier's ear. "Sure." He said, smiling warmly as he pushed me their direction. "Later, Kyles." He said, walking over to his friends.

                        I skipped up to Holly and Mina, smiling brightly. "Hey chicas, what's up?" "Nothing much." Holly replied. "What the hell is a chica?" Mina asked me, her hands on her hips. She was the shortest of us three BFF's, with straight dark brown hair and chestnut eyes. Holly was the tallest, with golden brown hair and pretty auburn eyes. I was average height, with ramrod straight ebony hair and dark brown eyes. I smiled at Mina, then shrugged. "Hmm...I don't know. I think it means girl in Spanish?" "Could be..." Mina mumbled thoughtfully. "So what electives did you choose, Kylie?" I smiled. At our school, us 'frenchies' were only allowed one elective, but had to choose three choices just in case we didn't get in to our first or second choice. Confusing, huh? " I chose drafting, foods and InfoTech." I responded. "I chose Infotech, Tech Ed, and Guitar." Mina piped up. "What about you, Holly?" "Me? I chose Guitar, Spanish and Drafting." I smiled at my friends. "Soo...Kylie." Holly said, turning to me, a slight glint in her eyes. "Um, yeah?" I asked, a little scared... "You and Xavier are really cute together!" Holly finished. "Thanks, I know right?" "Yahuh, you two make me sick." Mina said sarcastically, a disgusted look on her face. 

                     I laughed at Mina's reaction. She was always disgusted whenever we kissed or hugged, so she tended to make fun of my relationship with Xavier. He really was the perfect boyfriend, always giving me little gifts, like a rose or chocolate, and we'd only been together for about 9 months now. He was sweet, funny, charming, athletic and smart, all rolled up into one. I was so lucky to have him, he was amazing! "Do your parents know yet?" Holly asked me, concerned. It all seemed like the perfect relationship, right? Wrong. My parents wouldn't let me date until I had finished high school, unless he was The One...But then that would mean I'd have to introduce him to my parents, which I wasn't exactly looking forward to. Xavier was in band with me, on the saxophone, while I was on the piano/clarinet. My parents had seen him at band concerts and such, but they had no idea that we were dating. No freaking idea.

                       "Do my parents know?" I barked out a laugh. "Are you kidding me?! They would kill me if they knew I had a boyfriend this young...Like literally KILL me, Holly." She smirked at me, then replied. "Sucks to be you!" I glared at her playfully, that was kind of my line. "Yeah, yeah, whatever, girlies." I said, rolling my eyes. Mina shoved me. "Okay, I'm lost. So your parents DON'T know?!" I was about to answer her, when a voice came from behind me. "Parents don't know about what?" The voice piped up. I whirled around, then nearly fainted. I gasped for air...Oh shit. Holy freaking shit. This COULDN'T BE HAPPENING!!!
