Chapter Twenty-One.

You had licked your lips multiple times, you stared at the spell and your brain just wasn't registering what it said.

"Something wrong?" Harley asked as she tugged your left hand.

"Uh~." You licked your lips again.

Harley stared at you then down at the book, she then looked at you again.

"You do know how to say the spell, right?" She asked slowly.

You shook your head, she slapped your right hand after letting go.

"Well go figure it out!" She shouted.

"I'm sorry... I thought there would be an English translation." But that wasn't a good enough excuse.

You grabbed Harley's hands again and she was reluctant to hold on but she did so anyway.

"Just bare with me here." You read over the spell and then looked at Harley.

"If I really am reincarnated from an old Goddess then maybe I can just read as I go?" It was a stupid idea but at least it was plausible.

"I guess you can try." Harley's voice was wary.

You closed your eyes and willed your mist to form around your arms and hands then willed it to shroud Harley's. You pictured the book in your mind after throughly clearing it, it was your main focus you could see the incantation written in ink it floated off the page and the book disappeared leaving you with Latin words floating in your mind.

"Ut nostris manibus possumus supplicamus ut memoriae ad deos." You knew exactly what you were saying.

It was just like speaking your native language. You pushed your mist to seep into your chest and you could feel it travel up your spine and it spread into your head it was such a rush to feel that way, and as if like a slideshow you could see all your memories come back. Harley was in every single one of them and you felt like you were the 'old' you again.

"Did it work?" She asked.

You opened your eyes and stared at the love of your life.

"You tell me." You leaned forward and pressed your lips against hers.

You never knew how much you missed her lips, as you pulled away you were slightly breathless.

"I'll take that as a yes." Tears of joy sprang from her eyes and a smile was etched onto her face.

"Now all I need to do is find a way to come back to the real world." She nodded and pulled you to her chest.

"You don't even realise how much I love you right now." You leaned your head onto her shoulder and wrapped your arms around her.

"I can only imagine." The memories in your head was making you feel dizzy from the sudden wave that entered your mind but you didn't care.

You remembered Harley and that's all that mattered to you, you could finally say that I love you without hesitation and that you could kiss her lips without permission because she was your girl.

"I love you Harley Quinn." You whispered into her ear.

"And I love you (Y/N) (L/N)."
