Chapter Twenty-Four.

It was quiet, everything seemed normal and if you were being honest that scared you, going to library had become apart of your regular life so it didn't surprise anyone if they found you reading the spell book in there. Harley occasionally joined you because she was afraid of you being lonely but she didn't come often because you had told her in the nicest way that she was distracting -since all you wanted to do with her was make out- she hadn't taken any offence to it so you didn't have to worry about that. Joker visited again asking you where Galaxy had gone and you could only tell him 'away' he still bugged you about the book and you still ignored him, June had backed off and she seemed to be spending a lot of time with Rick which didn't bother you because you didn't have to have her breathing down your neck anymore.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Harley walked to the chair you were sitting on.

She had come in after getting permission from Rick, he seemed to have taken a liking to Harley so he had guards escort her to you whenever she asked.

"Mmh?" You hummed.

"I love you." You looked up from the book and looked at the girl next to you.

You opened your arms for her and she immediately moved into them, you pulled her onto your lap and cuddled into her your head was placed in the hollow of her throat.

"I love you too." You found it weird how Harley didn't phase through you like before.

You didn't want to question it but curiosity killed the cat. Was this because of the tattoo? Did that somehow make you a physical form to her? So many questions and no answers.

"Have you found anything yet?" She asked quietly.

"Not yet, but I feel like I'm close." You were a little over halfway through the book.

"That's good, your feelings are usually right." You kissed her collarbone in appreciation.

"I miss you." You breathe into her skin.

"I only saw you yesterday." She giggled.

"Feels like years." You joked.

"Well you were the one who said I was distracting." She pointed out.

Her fingers carded through your hair and you leaned into the feeling.

"That's because your lips just look so good, I can't help but want to taste them." You could hear her heart pick up.

"(Y/N)~." She whined cutely.

"Harley~." You whined back.

"You can't just say things like that." You looked at her and her cheeks were a bright pink.

"I can and I will." You tease her.

You leaned up and brushed your lips over hers, her breathe mingled with yours and she moved towards you only for you to pull back.

"I have to get back to searching." You mumble innocently.

"Yeah probably a good idea." Harley sounded like she was struggling to catch her breath.

She got off your lap and you grabbed her hand before she could leave, you tugged her down and pushed your lips together you could feel her smile you let go and she was still smiling.

"Love you." Her smile got bigger and teeth were flashed.

"Love you too." You let go of her hand and let her leave the library.

You turned your attention back to the book and started to read again, God you loved that girl especially if you got to see her all flushed and happy like that it made your heart swell.

*I feel like I should write a few fluffy chapters between you and Harley just to make up for the Galaxy shit*
