The Misfortune of a Witch and her son(A Soul Eater Story)

Chapter 11

Author's Note: Last we left off by Medusa finally becoming friends with one of the strongest meisters at the academy, Diana. We also stopped when Medusa and Roku finally made it official that in nine months their child will be born. And so now we continue... 

Eight months later... 

Medusa's P.o.v.  At the house... 

Well it's been eight short months now ever since I've been pregnant, and I've got to say, it is really hard work to have this child in my stomach. The first couple of months were terrible, always throwing up in the restroom, crazy mood swings, and strange food cravings. But now everything has settled and in about two weeks or about a week and a half I will have our child. 

At the moment though we are all going to the Academy because Lord Death has called us in, hmm... its been a while since we've been called by him. As we stepped in the Death Room we saw Lord Death look at the mirror rather than look at us,"Hey Lord Death, we're here." Kami said. Lord Death turned quickly,"Why, hello everyone. Long time no see!" Lord Death said, but then looked at me,"Oh my, Medusa, what has happened to you? Why is your stomach so big?" He asked me. Well then Lord Death, what a nice greeting,"Oh do not worry, I am only pregnant that's all." I said to him,"What?! Pregnant since when?" He said very surprised,"Well it's been eight months now, and in about a week or less I will have my baby." I said to Lord Death,"Well I am really curious, who is the father?" Lord Death said,"I looked at Roku,"The father is Roku." I said and Lord Death looked at him,"Well I am sure that Roku will be a wonderful father!" Lord Death said excited. 

"Anyway back on the subject, I have finally decided that when your mission will be set to go and kill the witch." Lord Death said,"Well it has been Ten Months! Since you last saw us!" Vincent said to Lord Death,"I know that I have been taking my time on this quest, but it will probably be the hardest witch that any of you will ever face." Lord Death said,"You will begin the quest in three days from now."Lord Death explained,"Medusa, are you still willing to go on this quest, because if you do, by the time you arrive back your child will be due." Lord Death said looking towards my round belly,"I will go for I will defeat that witch myself." I said in confidence,"Okay, then it's settled in three days you will be off on your quest!" Lord Death said. 

For now we will have to prepare some food, and drinks for our long journey ahead of us, we will need just a little training before then, but for now I must prepare myself in a closed area where only Roku may find me... 

I entered a dark cave and lit a torch that was deep within the cave, this is the only area where I can practice my spells. I've learned some more spells, for example let's see which ones I have learned: Vector Arrow, Vector Gun, Vector Shield, Vector Plate, Soul Protect, and some new ones, Vector Storm, and Vector Blade. I haven't learned the forbidden spells yet because first of all my soul isn't consumed with darkness, and second the other spell with Toxic Vector Drill sounds to painful to use. But for now I will use the spells that I know,"Vector Arrow." I saw the arrows rise out of my body without any pain any more. Okay next spell,"Vector Gun." I saw the arrows wrap around my hands to form a gun which shot fast and long ranged Vector Arrows, good, "Vector Shield." I saw the Vector Arrows form an orb around me that was surely enough to protect myself, "Vector Plate." This move brings back memories, when mother would shoot me into my room for disobeying her rules, let's see how she would like it. I saw a whole lot of glowing arrows around me as I dashed around on each on until I stopped,"Vector Storm." Vector Storm is pretty much another shield like spell, which Vector Arrows come run up besides turning into an orb. And then there's the last spell that I have learned,"Vector Blade." This is so far my favorite spell, because it turns all of my Vector Arrows into a long black sword, it is really powerful, and I can even send me soul wavelength out of it to attack others. I just need three days, and then I will soon meet face to face with my mother... 

Three Days Later... 

"Okay now everyone it seems that the first place on the map is at the Academy. I don't know why but it is." I said to the others and we began to walk to the Academy, and entered into the Death Room,"Oh, already back? I thought you were leaving today?" Lord Death said looking at us,"It's not that, on the map it says that we start here." I said showing the map to Lord Death,"Oh! Now I understand why it says that." Lord Death said putting his hands together,"Um..Why?" Spirit asked,"Well it's because you must travel through my mirror to get to your destination." Lord Death said everyone looked shocked,"We have to travel in there?" I asked,"Oh don't be so scared, it is quite harmless, and will only take a second, but..." Lord Death said, "Oh no, he said but!" Vincent said holding his hands in his face,"But, since there are four groups of you all and there is four different destinations it will take you into one of those four places, you can't all go to the same place at once." Lord Death said. Oh no, what if me and Roku appear at the first destination and the rest of the group appear at the farther destinations? Then I'll never fight my mother, and I will never get to destroy her,"Lord Death I offer to go first with Roku." I said raising my hand,"Alright then Medusa." 

I saw the mirror it began to glow, and I took Roku's hand and we entered inside the mirror. Man, this mirror thing sure takes you somewhere really fast, because it felt as if I just walked through a regular door, hmm but which destination are we at? I looked at the mirror behind us, and I saw it as it began to disintegrate. Then I felt something in my  pocket, a phone? What the heck when did this get in here?,"Hello? Medusa can you hear me?" It was Lord Death,"Yes, I can hear you." I said,"Medusa, it seems that you are at the last location, where the which is suppose to be, you are at the Blood Hole." Lord Death said. I hung up the phone. We're at the Blood Hole? 

I informed Roku of where we were at, and he told me there is no need to worry, we will defeat my mother. I saw the Blood Hole, why was it called that if it was a castle? We entered the castle, inside there was literally nothing, but stairs that lead downwards. I took Roku's hand, and we walked down. I couldn't see what was on the bottom, but all I knew was my mother was down there. As we arrived to the last step, the bottom of this castle sure was spacious, and now I knew why it was called the Blood Hole, because in the castle, there was a whole, and inside the hole was blood, lots and lots of blood. I looked at the walls and saw bodies laying on top of one another, their faces in pain, and their bodies a dying carcass. I saw dead bodies that we chained up, or organs that were lying on the floor, the was were literally stained with blood. And then I heard a voice, an old voice, but yet within those words there was evil,"Welcome Medusa, my child, to your end."
