The Misfortune of a Witch and her son(A Soul Eater Story)

Chapter 5

The Following Week... 

Crona's P.o.v. 

On Monday morning I had to wake up early because I had to take Kioku  and Mia back home before Lady Medusa came back home. I woke them up and we went outside to see that Shark was standing on guard duty once again. The second day that he was here he said that he would prefer his name to be Shark rather than Merlin. He looked at us and said,"Where are you guys going?" I looked through the forest ahead,"I'm taking Kioku and Mia back home." I said and began to walk, and as I walked I saw that Shark walked behind us. 

We walked through the forest, through the clearing, through the waterfall, and into the cave where I stopped at the door that was inside the wall,"Well until next time Crona." Kioku said and he opened his door, and Mia went in first with a,"Good-bye, Crona!" And followed with Kioku and they closed their door. 

On the way back home I couldn't stop but to think what will happen when Lady Medusa comes back home. When she sees Shark, oh, I don't know what to do. As we arrived home I stopped in front of the door and said to Shark,"Hey do you by any chance think that you have a spell that can make you like invisible or something?" I asked,"Why?" Shark responded,"Well it's because of Lady Medusa she wouldn't like it if you were here." I asked poking my two index fingers together,"Well I can try my best to stay hidden." Shark said. I saw him walk near a tree that around the forest area and I saw as he looked at it up and down, and he clapped his hands together, and he said,"I use the Spell, Transmuter!" I saw as his whole body changed from a shark man into a real life tree! I ran his way and said,"How did you do that?", "It's easy we shark witches have a spell call Transmuter which let's us take form of other things, so it's basically like a shapeshifter." Shark said and then I walked away and entered my home, awaiting for Lady Medusa. 

Later that Evening...

I sat in the dining room and drank some tea with a couple of ice cubes in it, I drank alone. I heard a movement outside and I knew it was Lady Medusa. She opened the door and I saw her walk in with her broom on one hand. She saw me drinking my tea and she said,"Oh, hello Crona. What are you doing up so late?" I stopped drinking my tea,"I was waiting for you." With that she walked up to her room. 

I was indeed lucky that Kioku and Mia had some plans about fixing the door spell, and about not leaving prints around in Lady Medusa's room. The first thing was that since Mia can break a spell she can also form it back to its original form so the door thing was covered. We placed the spell book back into place, and to cover our tracks we put some of the dust from the books on the ground to make our footsteps fade away.  

I saw her walk back down and she entered the kitchen and she began to cook dinner. after we both ate, we both said a good night to one another, and headed into our separate rooms. 

The Next Morning... 

In the morning Lady Medusa and I were going to get ready for training. Every day when she wasn't busy she would train with me so that I could become stronger. We had different areas that we would train at and today I had a feeling that today's area would be a hard one. 

We walked for quite sometime until I noticed where we were heading, we walked up a 'mountain' see that 'rocks' fell down from the 'mountain' and once we reached the top of the 'mountain' There was molten magma. This 'mountain' was actually a volcano, and those rocks that I was talking about earlier were fire rocks that flew out of the volcano so yeah. Wind flew by Lady Medusa's hair and mine as well. Lady Medusa spoke,"Even in this environment you must be prepared to battle your opponent. Are you ready Crona?" I nodded. 

Lady Medusa never joked around when it came to fighting she was very powerful. I saw her Vector arrows come towards me and I saw Ragnarok come out and block the arrows. Lady Medusa was running pretty fast even though we were at the edge of a volcano. She said,"Vector Plate." I saw the purple arrow glow under me and pointed towards Lady Medusa. I flew towards her and she sliced at my arm but my black blood hardened and blocked the attack. I turned and tried slicing her, but she dodged with her Vector Storm, which was a good defense. We both landed simultaneously on the ground nearly falling into the volcano. 

She was waiting patiently for me to use my Scream Resonance. She's always wanted to test my powers to the limit when it came to my resonance. My Resonance was different, because while every meister has a Soul Resonance, I have Scream Resonance. The difference is that I have to let more of my soul wavelength go to Ragnarok, and he gains that energy for his attack but his soul wavelength doesn't travel to me so, we have an unstable bond, because we cannot connect our souls. 

I held Ragnarok next to my face and felt his cold sword,"Ragnarok, Scream Resonance." I heard Ragnarok scream against my face, but for some reason I actually enjoyed his screaming. Medusa was getting herself prepared, but did not look afraid,"Scream Gamma." I said because that was the move that I was soon going to use. 

"Vector Arrow." I saw Medusa send her arrows toward my way, and I grabbed them with Ragnarok mouth, and I pulled her my way, and right when I launched my attack, Lady Medusa dodged it with her Vector Plate, and I hit the side of the volcano, Ragnarok took a bit out of the mountain, and some lava began to spill just a little. 

Lady Medusa appeared behind me, and attacked me with a Vector Arrow and hit me on my back, for some reason it triggered something. 

My body froze, and I fell to the ground, but I slowly rose. Something had changed about my power, I feel stronger, but why, all Lady Medusa did was hit my back. I looked at her with an evil smile that I've never given her, but for some reason she liked it. I grabbed Ragnarok, and he screamed louder, that's how I knew that he was absorbing my soul wavelength because he was getting my power. Lady Medusa backed away just a little. 

I felt some things come out of my back, and they stretched out like wing, they were crooked and the color black, they were made from my blood, and I flew. 

Lady Medusa looked up at me,"How did you do that Crona?" I looked down at her and said,"I am not to sure." But I had to remember my objective to at least hit Medusa. I said a move that I've never said before,"Let's Go, Scream Alpha!" This move was definitely unstable because when I launched it, the move's power was huge. I saw the move slice through the whole volcano in one blow. 

As I saw the volcano split in half, I saw the the lava spill out of it like crazy. I saw Lady Medusa fall into the pit, and I used my new wings to fly down there and successfully catch her. 

Back At Home... 

At the house I saw that Lady Medusa must have fainted from that fall so I laid her down on her bed, covered her with a blanket, put an ice pack on her forehead, and sat on a nearby chair to watch over her to see if she was okay. 

"Hey Crona." Shark said but in a desk form. Oh my gosh he scared the crap out of me,"Hi, Shark." I said, but now nervous from that unexpected appearance,"So that's your mother?" He said,"Yeah, but right now she's pretty ill." I said,"Oh. Well I'll be here if you need me." He said and then we both stayed silent until one hour later...

I saw Lady Medusa wake up, and I rushed to her side,"Oh, Lady Medusa are you okay?" I said reaching for her to get up slowly,"Yes, I am fine, but who brought me home?" She said,"I did, I put you in bed, and gave you an ice pack, and covered you with a blanket. This brought shock to her for some reason, but then it disappeared when she laid back in bed and she said while turning to the other direction,"Thank you, Crona."
