The Misfortune of a Witch and her son(A Soul Eater Story)

Chapter 6

Crona's P.o.v.  

Lady Medusa is currently resting to get her strength back so, I'm not being a bother to her. I went outside and sat on the porch. I heard a chair creak right next to me, and it transformed into Shark,"Hey Crona how's it going?" He asked, "Oh I'm good, I just need to relax from fighting for a while, so I think that I'll read Lady Medusa's Spell Book." I said as I took out the Spell Book,"How did you get that?" Shark questioned looking at the Spell Book,"Oh, I just got it from her room while she slept so I might as well read some of it." I said and opened to the table of contents. 

As I read I wondered what Kioku and Mia did when I wasn't around them. It's always in the back of my head but I just never questioned it, oh well, I guess I'll never know. I said to myself as I read the Spell Book, with Shark right next to me... 

One Hour Earlier... 

Kioku's P.o.v. 

"Mia where's my shirt!" I yelled inside the house as I heard my echo. Brr! It's so freaking cold when you live in a cave house like I do, and when I don't have my shirt, it's even colder. How did my shirt even come off!? I saw as Mia rushed to me and before giving me my shirt she said,"Not so fast, can I have a hug?" She said holding my shirt back from me,"No. You took my shirt!" I said and then I saw her look at me with puppy eyes. Uh, those eyes can really burn through your skin,"Ugh, fine." I said and then she hugged me, and I hugged her back, her body was pretty warm, while she put her head against my lower chest, and then she gave me my shirt, and then she skipped away. Wow that was weird. 

Mia's P.o.v. 

I skipped to my room and once I saw that Kioku was no longer looking, I ran to my room, and closed the door, and jumped on my poorly made bed. I screamed into my pillow with excitement. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I can't believe that worked. Earlier that night, I sneaked into Kioku's room and slowly took off his shirt so that he would noticed in the morning, then he would ask me for it, then I would try to convince him to hug me, before getting the shirt back, and it worked! It wasn't as hard as I thought since I knew that Kioku was a hard sleeper, but still! 

I changed out of my pajamas, and changed to more comfortable clothes. I changed into a black skirt, with a blue collar shirt, some small red high heels, and fixed up my hair. I walked out of my room and saw Kioku sit in the trashed living room. I popped a seat right next to him, and sighed. It was pretty boring just staying here in this closed place, the windows were broken because they were smashed by this cave. I've always wondered how this house ever got attached to this cave, I mean how does that happen? But, anyway Kioku was just sitting there in silence so, I guess I was the one who had to break the ice,"Hey Kioku would you like to go outside?" I said excitedly but then he looked at me with anger, and I saw flames in his eyes, and he turned away. Well that didn't go as planned, but we need at least a little sun. 

"Oh come on Kioku just for half an hour at least? Please? Please?" I said with my hands together, he looked at me and said,"No." Hmm if that can't get him then maybe this will! I stood right next to the door, and said as I grabbed the door knob,"Well...if you won't come with me then I'll just have to go alone, I guess..." I said as I slowly stepped out of the door. Then as I  closed the door all the way I saw that Kioku opened the door, and he began to follow me, to the outdoors. Yes, a success! I said to myself as I gave myself a high five in my mind. 

As we walked to the waterfall, Kioku grabbed me, and I transformed into the energy sword. Kioku quickly slashed through the waterfall to make a clearing and he ran through it with me in his hands. As we exited the waterfall, I transformed back into a human. I looked up at the Sun, and absorbed it's sunlight for as long as I had it left with me. I smiled and felt a nice breeze go through my hair, and I was ready to explore. I jumped up and gave a thumbs up to the sky. 

And Then... 

Kioku's P.o.v. 

I can't believe that Mia made me come out here, to the open. She knows how much I hate being outside, and yet she still wants to come out. We walked for a little while and stopped at a bench,"See Kioku this isn't so bad. Plus we needed some sunlight, if not people would think that were vampires or something." Mia said happily as we sat on the bench. I looked up and saw the clouds going past the Sun, the birds in their nest, singing as if everything were happy, the small wind that blew through my hair, it was alright, but I still did not enjoy...completely. 

"I think it's time we get back to the house, Mia, it's getting dark out, and the monsters will come out soon." I said as I watched the Sun begin to sleep and begin to descend, while the moon began to rise, and I saw it's smile with blood run through it's teeth. 

"Why? Come on let's fight something and finally get a kishen soul like old times. I want to become a Death Scythe you know." Mia said putting her hands down in anger,"I know that you want to become a Death Scythe, but I don't think that were quite ready to fight anything yet." I said, but then I was interrupted, but a rustling noise in a nearby bush. I saw that something flew out and landed behind us. It was a monster,"Yeah, a monster!" Mia said,"What! You're happy about this!" I said,"Well yeah because we finally get to fight something, now grab me." Mia said, and she transformed into the energy sword. 

The monster didn't look that creepy, besides the fact that it had an increasing amount of saliva come out of its body, only one leg, and three arms, two eyes that were crying with tears of blood, and the creature smelled really bad. It came running towards me at higher speed then expected, since it only had one leg. But I dodged because this thing wasn't going to lay a hand on us at all. I jumped on a tree branch, and saw that Mia glowed very bright, and never understood why she glowed so bright, but she was the only one of her kind. I jumped off th tree and gave a clean swipe to the monster, and its body turned into a kishen egg. 

"Yeah we killed it! But it was to easy." Mia said transforming back into a human. She grabbed the soul and put it all in her mouth and ate it,"It's been awhile evver since I've had a soul, and this one sure was good!" Mia said,"Okay, now that you've had your fight it's time to go home." I said,"Alright, we can go now." Mia said and she lead the way skipping as we walked home. 

Mia's P.o.v. 

We walked home that night, I saw the scary moon, smile down at us with it's teeth bleeding. It sure was fun hanging out with Kioku, and we even had a battle! So that's all I could ask for out of today. We went through the waterfall and to the door, and inside the house, Kioku said to me,"Good night Mia." and then we went our separate ways to our rooms, and then I went to my room and quickly wrote something down in my journal, 

Dear Journal, 

                        Today I had a wonderful day, I spent the day outdoors, I even fought a monster so that's good. I can't wait to do it again, especially with Kioku. I know that I may have feelings for him, but I just can't tell him, not yet. Help me out journal. Tell me what to do! If only you could talk. Anyway I'll see you soon. Hugs & Kisses.
