Chapter 11

Crona's P.o.v.  

I ran to Kioku forgetting that he had been hurt by Lady Medusa. I saw as his face laid in the ground while his body was still and motionless. I shook him to see if he was alright,"Kioku, kioku?" I asked and he awoke with him slapping me in the face,"Oh sorry Crona, it was a reflex." Kioku said as he woke. He looked at me as I rubbed my face, it didn't hurt so much since the black blood, but then he looked around in shock,"Crona, where's Mia." I looked at him with guilt and began to lower my head, then he began to shack me,"Crona where is she!" My head looked down,"She took her." I said in a low voice. I saw as Kioku moved back a little. 

"What do you mean she took her?" Kioku said looking at me with anger,"Lady Medusa took her by surprise, I couldn't do anything because I was afraid, I couldn't fight her, I couldn't do it." I said beginning to sob a little,"I was useless, a fool. Why bother being with me, if I don't help, I can't even argue with Lady Medusa because I'm afraid, isn't that sad? Being afraid of your own mother?" I said sobbing little tears that streamed down my face.

"Crona..." Kioku said and I covered my face with my hands. I know that I'm guilty, I always am no matter what happens. Everyone that's around me always gets hurt, I shouldn't be alive if I only cause pain and suffering. 

Then I felt a hand grab onto my shoulder,"Crona, I didn't mean to make you cry, I was just frustrated that's all. Now then, do you at least know where they're going?" Kioku said. I looked in shock I didn't want to answer that, but I knew that I must,"Lady Medusa is heading towards Willow's Cliff." 

Willow's Cliff... 

Medusa walked to the edge of the cliff noticing below the cliff the ferocious waves below, and the staggering rocks below, she heard the waves as they clashed with the rocks. She saw as Mia was tied with her vector arrow struggling to get out. Medusa walked towards Mia, and she saw that Mia was beautiful, her eyes, her features everything,"You are a fine one aren't you, I didn't wish to do this, but you made me no other choice, I have to protect my child, and he only belongs to me." Medusa said as she took Mia by her vector arrow and she brought her to the Weeping Willow that was right next to the cliff, and Medusa tied her up,"Don't worry little girl, soon you and your friend...will be dead." 

Crona's P.o.v. 

Luckily Willow's Cliff wasn't far from Death City, but the down side is that Kioku and I were really tired, but we had to keep on moving for Mia, it was still dark out the moon was now smiling in the middle of the sky, and we walked out of the city and headed towards Willow's Cliff. 

Willow's Cliff is a very dark place that I hate going to, I've been there only two times and in those times they were terrible. Willow's Cliff is suppose to be famous because it is the place place that attracts witches for some reason, witches from practically anywhere, and I wouldn't enjoy being around a whole crowd of witches especially a snake witch like Lady Medusa. 

Willow's Cliff was only thirty minutes from Death City, and by walk that would take us about forty five, but we would practically be there in five minutes, but in those five minutes I would have to see Lady Medusa once again. I saw as Kioku was rushing to get there, and then right as we reached our destination I stopped him,"Crona what are you doing? Come on let's go." Kioku said trying to let me go,"Wait, before we reach the end I need to tell you something about this place." I said and Kioku looked at me,"This place is suppose to attract witches from all over the world, and all types of witches, but they are only to come here every twenty years, on the blue moon, on that day is tonight." I said and Kioku looked at me in shock,"What! How are we going to defeat witches if we can barely fight your mom?" Kioku said and I couldn't answer, there was no hope for us, there couldn't be any hope. 

We walked towards the end of the cliff, and saw that there was a large Weeping Willow at the end of the cliff, and hanging from the edge of the willow was Mia, but where was Lady Medusa? 

"Mia!" Kioku yelled out as we saw that Mia was unconscious. Kioku ran towards her as he was stopped by a near hit by a vector arrow. We looked up to see Lady Medusa on her broom, with vector arrows streaming out of her back, and she looked down at us with her eyes, one regular and one red. 

"Lady Medusa please let her go." I said to her,"No." Lady Medusa said immediately and her voice was so shocking even to hear,"Hey you! Better let her go or else I'll give you a pounding!" Kioku said to Lady Medusa,"You don't have your weapon and the way I see it you don't have any special abilities that would help you in this matter." Lady Medusa said sitting down calmly on her broom,"Oh yeah, well I think that your wrong!" Kioku said and I saw as he jumped towards the sky at high speed,"Let's go Energy Ring!" I saw as Kioku jumped over Lady Medusa and touched her back, and he came back down, with a perfect landing,"So what was that suppose to do?" Lady Medusa said, and she tried to get off of her broom but was stopped by a shock of electricity,"Aaah!" She screamed,"Yes it worked!" Kioku said. 

I've never seen Kioku do this move before,"Kioku what did you do?" I asked, "This move is called Energy Ring, which if I touch the enemy then it forms a sphere barrier around them, and surely they can't escape, but if they try to they'll get electrocuted by the sphere." Kioku explained I looked at Lady Medusa as she was gaining back her energy from the blast, but she seemed to be a little injured. 

"If you think...that will stop me...well you're wrong." Lady Medusa said weakly,"Another upside about Energy Ring is that it can take the energy of any living thing that touches it, so we should be safe, because your mom wouldn't want to touch that." Kioku said, and I looked to see that the energy ring was also invisible until touched. 

I saw as Lady Medusa took out her vector arrows and began to charge at the sphere, hit after hit everytime the arrows hit they were destroyed,"Also the energy ring is immune to spells." Kioku said smiling. How powerful is this special ability? I saw as Lady Medusa spoke,"No matter what i will not give up." I saw as she moved closer to the sphere,"What is she doing?" I asked. I saw as Lady Medusa touched the sphere and electricity, began to shock her but it didn't seem to stop her, but I knew that it did effect her. She began to rip a whole through the sphere,"You never said anything about physical contact with the sphere." Lady Medusa said and she ripped through the sphere. 

I saw as the sphere dissolved,"No way." Kioku said looking at Lady Medusa, I saw as she had hardly any strength left, she breathed heavily, from all the energy that wen into th sphere,"Now then where were we?" Lady Medusa said looking down at us, and then she looked at the moon suddenly, and Kioku and I also looked at the moon. I saw as the moon was now turning into the color of blue, and the moon's eye turned black, and its smile turned into grim, and its blood turned black. I saw as Lady Medusa looked at it and I saw as her glowing red eye now turned blue, what the? 

"It's time." Lady Medusa said staring at the moon,"Come on Crona we need to get Mia." Kioku said and we ran towards her but stopped at the sound of laughter,"They're coming." Lady Medusa said and Kioku and I looked around in the sky seeing black figures begin to emerge to the area, the figures landed on the ground near us, they were people with black hoods over their heads, one after another more and more came, until the very last one, there were more than one hundred of them here, they were all witches. 

Lady Medusa still floated on her broom above all the witches and she spoke,"Welcome everyone to the annual meeting here at Willow's Cliff. I am happy to say that our ritual will proceed we just need to handle that one." Lady Medusa pointed towards Kioku and he looked at Lady Medusa in rage. I heard a witch say,"Let me at him." another said,"I'll do it so we can continue." All were negative comments. 

The witches began to close in and they all took off their hoods and revealed their bodies, each one was a different animal witch, some were wolf, some were frogs, some were rabbits, or dogs, or cats, birds, etc. Practically every kind of witch was here. I called out Ragnarok and the witches looked at shockingly,"Look there he's got the Demon Sword." "The Demon Sword?" They were a little frightened but remembered on their number advantage. 

I looked at Lady Medusa and she smiled and said,"This is the end Crona, my army against you and him, this is the final battle!" And I saw as they all charged at us with no fear.
