The Misfortune of a Witch and her son(A Soul Eater Story)

Chapter 5

   As I walked across the streets I held onto my right arm with my left hand as it began to pour rain. I never went to Roku's home before so I had nowhere to go. I didn't have any friends in the school except for Roku, I really am alone now. As I walked across the sidewalk I see cars passing by me, the moon smiling, my cobra like hood protecting me from the rain, my dress getting soaked, where was I suppose to go? I only had my clothes that I was wearing, my bag with a few snacks, pieces of paper, and that book again. I wonder if mother can survive without, oh well the power's all mine now. I walked for a really long time, I ended up leaving the town I wouldn't have expected something like this out of the town. I walked from a beautiful green, sunny, and light filled town to a what seemed a desert, there was nothing in sight just sand dunes,and little mountains. I was now exhausted so, I ended up resting by a nearby rock, awaiting the next day.  

    The next was scorching hot, the sun looked different in this enviroment, it was laughing like always in the morning but it was glowing with more flames than usual. I continued to walk, a little tired but not to much that I couldn't walk. I continued to walk for the next twelve hours, I can tell by the sun's direction. To keep me accupied I just read the book, believe me it is a ginormous book. I read that witches should first learn the spell Soul Protect which makes the witches soul look like a normal human soul, so that the meisters won't kill you when they see your soul. I still haven't learned it which is weird because in the book it says that, each witch is different in they're own way. Every witch has their own animal like techniques. For example if you are a witch that has the animal of a frog, your spells will be frog based. The rarest of animals for a witch is the snake. I read this section aloud to myself, If a witch is to have the animal of a snake then they will have multiple powers within them. A snake witch will probably be the most of power, and the hardest to defeat. The characteristics of this type of witch are: evil, devious, wanting power, percistant, sometimes loving. But it is rare if this witch is found. Am I a snake witch I mean look at me my name's Medusa, I have a snake like hood, I even have a snake tatoo on my arm....wait a minute I never had a snake tatoo before. I looked at my arm and saw a snake's head on my arm, it showed one eye, one side of  its face, its mouth was opened showing teeth, the whole head was the color black, but I was wondering where was the rest of the body, the only thing that was under the snake head was black dots that wrapped around my arm and went all the way to my palm. Then I read something in the book again, A witch will find out witch animal they will possess when a certain mark is appeared on the body. So its true I am a snake witch the most powerful witch? Me? But how can that be? 

         As I walked I saw something in front of me, what was it? As I began to see clearer It looked like a small city staked on top that lead upwards. In front of this "city" were cartoon like skulls that allowed anyone to enter, and so I did. This city was strange buildings were so close to one another, the buildings were the colors of grays, dark blues, some with red roofs, I saw at the entrance a sign dangled from a building it read, Death City. Death City? I've never heard of it. As i walked through the streets their was practically no one around, everyone was in their home, then I saw that up ahead was a stopping point, in front of me were stairs. There were at least a thousand stairs to walk up, but what was up those stairs? So curious little me walked up them. 

          It took a while until I finally reached the top longer then I really anticipated. As I went to the final stair step, I saw a gigantic building in front of me. It was architecture like I've never seen before. The entrance had three big skulls, one looking to the east, one looking to the west, and one in the center that had three long spikes sticking outwards. Right next to the skulls were two enormous candles that didn't stand upward but sticked out horizontally, one right next to the two skulls that didn't have spikes. Next to the candles were each, one tower that looked vertical. The rest of the building was nothing but stacked up little buildings and bigger buildings, the building was perfectically symmetrical in every way. 

            As I was about to walk into the building, I hide in a small corner of the building because I had something within me that said, You fool if you just walk inside there you will die immediately! But why would something like that happen? Then I saw someone walk past me, but they didn't see me, but something was shiny on the person's shirt a badge that read, A student from Death Weapon Meister Academy. I remember now back at the school when I killed the girls in the locker room, I remember seeing some people with their weapon partners that had that same badge. And I also remember something in the book that said, No matter what, no witch shall ever trust a meister as a friend. Before you are to encounter a meister you shall put the spell Soul Protect to not die. Hmmm I guess I should trust the book. I flipped to the page of the spell, and said it,"Soul Protect." Hmm I guess it just works without any pain unlike the Vector Arrow. So I finally stood, putting the book back inside my bag, and finally entering the unknown Death Weapon Meister Academy.  

           At first I kind of had a sketchy feeling about the spell, if it worked then I was safe, and if it didn't then I was dead meat. I saw meisters and weapons next to each other hanging out in groups, and I heard a bell ring noticing the students walking to their classes. I asked,"Excuse me do you by any chance-" I kept on getting cut off when the students walked past me mindin their own business and ignoring me. The halls were empty now silent, the walls a yellow cream color, a lightstand on every wall, these students were that much different from my last school of meisters and weapons, they never paid attention to me, like always no one ever pays attention to a witch.  

            Well since no one was around I guess I should look for the principle I mean ever school has a principle...right? I walked till I found a dead end at a hallway. at the end of the hallway was a door about eight feet tall, I wondered why would anyone want a door this big? The door was the color red and had a black diagonal line across it, also the door had a skull on it but it looked different, the skull had three circles on the facial area, and beneath the circles were no jaws or teeth but three sharp pointy teeth that pointed to the ground it looked strange I've never seen a skull like that before. (I apologize if I didn't explain Lord Death's skull properly, but hey alot of things in Soul Eater are hard to explain. Am I right?) 

             I knocked on the door and said,"Hello?" i wanted to knock again, but then before my hand touched the door it opened with no one at the door. I entered what seemed to be behind the door. I entered with caution, As I walked into the room I saw black and red guiletines above me as if they were going to drop on me and slice my body in half, I kept on walking beneath the huge guiletines, As I came to the last one I came to a clearing. I saw that this room was the biggest room ever! i mean I couldn't even see the corners or edges just the sand colored floor, and all around me were crosses on the floor, and a  blue sky above me, with cartoonish looking clouds floating around the room, around the room were also a few windows here and there. But the strangest thing was that in teh center of the room was little steps that lead to a large mirror the size of the door outside. Above the mirror was three candles that were lit, and in the center of the candles was that skull again. The mirror was vertical, and the frame around it was black,"Hello. Waz up?" A voice that I have never heard before said in the strangest yet funny man cartoon voice. I turned and saw an eight foot man in front of me, this man though looked strange he was mostly shaped with sharp edges on his shoulders and little sharp edges beneath him, he didn't have any feet or a face, but he had that strange skull for a face. He was the color of black and nothing else, his skull was the color white all he did was give me a peace sign when he said wazzup with his gigantic white cartoonish hand. 

                  And I wondered who is this guy?
