The Misfortune of a Witch and her son(A Soul Eater Story)

Chapter 4

Crona's P.o.v.  

"Now go ahead and face my wrath!" The strange shark man said and I saw as we were going to go into our first battle together. I looked at Kioku and he grabbed Mia, and she turned into the energy sword, while I saw my black blood rise above me and I took so it could form into the demon sword. 

The shark man moved his hands upwards and I saw as the waves began moving again, but more rapidly towards us now. We can't fight in the water as best as we can on land, so we had to let the tide take us back to shore. Once then we stood on land and saw that the shark man was still in the water, and he saw us and said,"Just because you're on land doesn't give you the advantage!" He moved his left hand upward this time and we saw the sand around around us began to shoot up and form into sharp sand blades it was difficult to dodge because we didn't know where they would be next. 

As we dodged  the sand blades I saw as the shark man laughed in the ocean, mocking us, defying our power. Well...he's got another thing coming. I stood still and saw that about five sand blades cut right through my skin,"Crona!" Kioku said. and I looked at him and smiled. Then I saw as the shark man looked curious at me, more like confusion but he should be confused because he does not know what he is facing. I saw as my blood surged across the blades and the blades went back into sand form, and the shark man took one of the blades so that he could see my strange blood, but that was a mistake. When he looked at my blood and I saw that he looked at it I said,"Go Bloody Needle." and I saw as the blood shot out and shot the shark man right in the arm instead of the eye like I wanted to but at least I hit him. 

I heard him yell out in pain because those bloody needles did hurt people badly,"What is this some sort of magic?" The shark man said, I shook my head,"No, no magic. Just my blood." I said and he looked at me,"Just blood? How could blood do something like this?" "I don't know, but you better beware." I said as I saw that Kioku and Mia had snuck up on him and Kioku said,"Let's go Soul Resonance!" Mia glowed and grew, but this time I knew that it was going to be a different move. 

"Energy Strike!" Kioku said. In the move Energy Strike Kioku sends more of his soul wavelength then a normal person should to Mia so that she can get a lot of power for one final blow. I saw as the shark man was shocked and I saw as Kioku sliced through the shark man and I saw as the shark man's body began to swirl into darkness, and his soul appeared. It was purple it was a witch's soul he was a witch? 

As we got out of the water we took the soul with us and felt the soul move, and it began to shake more and more and it rose out of my hand and it floated in mid air, and I saw as the black dust began to come back and swirl around the soul. What was going on? And I saw as the shark witch's body became whole once again. And he fell to the ground, and he slowly rose. 

"How is he still alive?" Mia said, I looked at the Shark witch and he spoke,"You didn't really think that I could die did you?" He asked,"But since you have spared my soul I am ever in you favor." the Shark witch said, and I looked confused,"Um what do you mean?" I asked,"I mean that if you ate my soul I wouldn't have come back to life. So since you didn't, you spared my life." The shark man said and now bowing to us. 

"So now I will protect you for as long as I shall live, Master, and Madame." The Shark man said. As we walked home the Shark man followed us when we entered the home, the Shark man followed, and when we were ready to sleep the Shark man stood to watch. But before I went to bed I was curious,"What is your name?" The Shark man looked at me,"My name is Merlin, Merlin "Shark" Miller." Merlin said.

And as I slept I quickly looked out the window, and saw that Merlin sat on the patio, and I knew that he kept his word about protecting us. So I slept, but I wondered now, what would happen when Lady Medusa came home?
