HARRY'S POV

Missed Call: Hailey

Crap. This was just what I needed. I'm just glad since I get no service out here it didn't even ring and went straight to voicemail.

"Something up mate?" Liam questioned, pulling himself up onto the side of the boat.

"Yeah actually. Hailey called me. Actually, it just popped up, she called me three times."

"What? Why?''

''I don't know! She seemed pretty determined to never talk to me again after what happened.''

''Well when we get back to shore you can call her from the tourbus and see what shenwants.'' Liam suggested. I hesitated.

''You were going to call her back right?" He pressed.

"Well... I don't know. I mean I don't know what I would say. Personally, I believe that both of us would be better off away from each other." I explained.

"I'm not trying to force you to anything you don't want to do, I'm just examining all possibilities."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well you know how her dad was..."

"Yeah, but she said she was going to get out of there as soon as she could." I reason.

"I'm sure she's long gone from that place by now."

"You never know mate, but do whatever you want. It's you're decision." He said, jumping back into the water. I groaned, knowing that he was right, and as soon as I got back to the tour bus, I was going to have to call Hailey to see if she was alright.

"Ow... Ow... Ow! Motherfucker..." I muttered as I bumped into a doorframe by accident.

"Dude, Hanna told you to put more sunblock on." Liam reminded me.

"It's not that bad though, right?" I asked, turning to the girls to get their opinion. Hanna started to speak.

"It's not too bad. Maybe just a little-"

"You look like a fucking tomato." Niall and Reagan laughed at the same time. I glared at both of them which only made them laugh harder.

"Here Harry, I have some Aloe Vera in the bathroom." Hanna said. I didn't know what that was, but I was surprised when she grabbed my hand to lead me even though we both knew I knew where it was.

"Sit." She ordered. Pointing to the edge of the bath tub. The cool porcelain felt good against the hot skin of my sunburn. She rummaged through the cabinets a bit before emerging with a bottle of green goo.

"What is that?" I asked, never actually having a sunburn before, so I had little knowledge on how to treat one.

"Just sit still. It won't sting and it will make your skin feel better." She poured some of the gunk onto her hand and sat on the toilet in front of me. I gulped as her hands came closer. I flinched when they finally made contact.

"What's wrong?"

"It's cold." I admitted. She rolled her eyes and continued to apply the substance. She was right, it felt amazing on my damaged skin and I would definitely have to go buy myself a bottle. I don't know why she was doing it for me, but I wasn't complaining. I missed her hands. Not in that way obviously, but just the way how they were so soft and gentle with whatever she was doing.

"Done." She smiled, getting up and going to wash her hands.

"Thank you Hanna."

"Don't mention it. That's what sisters are for!" I stared at her with my eyebrows raised until she caught her mistake.

"Friends! I meant friends. Since we're obviously not related anymore." She stammered.

"Sorry." She apologized.

"Don't worry about it." We were silent as we walked out of the bathroom to join the others.

"Harry, it's getting late. We should get going." Zayn told me.

"Alright."

"Do you guys want to do something tomorrow?" Hanna asked.

"Yeah sure! Do you have anything in mind?" Niall answered.

"Well a new club just opened in downtown. Jack and I were going to go check it out soon, but do you guys want to come with?" She offered.

"That sounds like a lot of fun." I said.

"How about you guys meet us at the club around nine?" Jack suggested.

"Perfect. We'll see you then." I said with a smile. Even if it was awkward with Hanna, I found myself hating to be away from her even for a second, all over again. By the time we got back to the hotel we were told we were now staying in, it was only nine o'clock. We took turns showering and when Liam came out, he stopped me before I could go in.

"Don't forget to call Hailey." He said simply. I nodded and went in to take my shower. I'm glad I was the last one to shower, because there wasn't a lot of hot water and my skin was still very raw from the sunburn. When I got out, I threw on a pair of boxers and some sweatpants before picking up my phone from the dresser.

"Do you want us to leave?" Liam asked, referencing to him and Louis, who I was sharing a room with.

"No, actually could you guys stay? I may need the moral support here." They both nodded and sat down on the bed across from me. I took a deep breath before unlocking my phone and dialing Hailey's number.

"H-hello?" A trembling voice answered.

"Hailey? Are you crying?" I asked, immedietly alarmed. Liam and Louis gave me questioning looks, but I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Harry? Is that you?"

"Yeah, it's me. What's going on?"

"N-nothing. Really, I'm sorry for calling you earlier. I just didn't know what to do, but I'm handling the situation." She assured me, trying to make her voice sound stronger.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, yes I'm completely fi-"

"HAILEY! OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR RIGHT NOW!" A voice yelled, interrupting her. I immedietly knew who it was.

"Hailey why is your dad there?"

"I-I had to move back."

"What do you mean? You should be in California right now!"

"Hale... who are you talking to?"  A small voice asked, obviously not here dad, but I ignored it for the moment.

"Shh... it's okay. Harry it doesn't matter. I'll be okay. Just go back to doing whatever you're doing." She tried assuring me again.

"I don't believe you Hailey. I'm coming over right now." I said standing up from my bed. The boys gave me 'what the fuck' looks but I ignored them.

"Harry you can't just drive over! Where even are you anyway?" She questioned.

"Close enough to get to Georgia in a couple hours by jet. Just hold on until I get there." I ordered, turning to hear Liam was already on the phone, getting our private jet ready for travel. That's a true friend right there.

"Harry-"

"Don't argue Hailey. It's already being done. I'll see you soon."

"Thank you." And with that, the call ended.

"Is she alright?" Louis asked.

"No, she's with her dad. I need to get there quick."

"The jet's waiting for you at the airport whenever you get there." Liam informed me. I nodded and grabbed the keys to one of the cars.

"We'll cover for you, don't worry." Louis said, heading into the other room to tell the rest of the boys about the situation.

"Thanks lads. I should be back sometime tomorrow and I'll try to remember to call when I get there. Oh, and don't tell Hanna."

"Don't worry about it, just get Hailey out of there and over here. We'll figure everything else out later." Liam promised. I nodded towards him, and headed out to save a girl that I never expected to see again.
