Happy Holidays from Elisa :)
Enjoy this Christmas chapter.
Jimin finished dressing their apartment up like a Christmas tree and sat back on their sofa, pleased with his work. He knew Yoongi would be home soon and he wanted to surprise him. It was three days before Christmas, yes he was cutting it a bit close but the two of them had been so busy with work lately . . .
Yoongi was working full shifts as a composer for Big Hit Entertainment and Jimin was working as a choreographer and had been plenty busy trying to choreograph Christmas music showpieces for their groups.
Jimin and Yoongi's last day was today and Jimin had gone home early to get the place fixed up. Jimin had Yoongi's special present in a package under the tree and sighed. It had been three years since they'd gotten married. He thought this was the perfect gift for this year. Jin and Namjoon were coming over that night for dinner, leaving their son, Jackson to Jungkook and Taehyung.
Yoongi came home, grumbling under his breath as always but was brought to a smile when noticing the decorations.
"Jja-jan!" cried Jimin, throwing some garland in the air. Yoongi dropped his bag, slipping on his Kumamon slippers and sauntered forward to peck Jimin on the lips.
"Best. Surprise. Ever." He said. Jimin smirked. He didn't even know what was wrapped for him under the tree.
"Oh this was bigger than me," Jimin traced a finger up Yoongi's chest. "Completely naked only covered by rose petals?"
Jimin was recalling their second anniversary. Yoongi gulped, his face flushing at the mere memory. "O-Okay, maybe not as great as that but a close second."
Jimin leaned in closer to Yoongi but they were interrupted by the doorbell. Yoongi dipped Jimin and crashed their lips together, swinging Jimin back up with a grin.
Jimin, breathing heavily watched as Yoongi jogged over to the door. "Wh-what was that?" he muttered, blushing furiously.
"You don't just cockblock me like that, Jiminie." Grinned Yoongi and opened the door for their guests.
'~'
"Just tell me what it is!" cried Yoongi, grinning as he and Jimin sat next to each other at their 'friendmas'. Jin was busy unwrapping matching bracelets for him and Namjoon with their son's name on it from Hoseok and his wife. Jimin shook his head.
"I can't ruin the surprise, yeobo." Mumbled Jimin with a grin. Yoongi groaned but smiled when Jackson came waddling over to him and sat in his lap, tugging on the reindeer ears on his head.
"Yoongi-hyung, your turn!" grinned Jungkook, winking at Jimin. It was the last present left, on Jimin's request and Jimin was nearly shaking from excitement.
Yoongi took the gift bag and opened the letter on top.
"Read it aloud!" cried Jin, gripping Namjoon. Jin and Jungkook knew but no one else did. Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"'Dear Yoongi-ah,
We've been married for three years, and I think it's safe to say you're getting harder to buy gifts for.'" Jimin giggled. "'But, thanks to Jungkookie and Jin-hyung, I think we've come up with something fantastic. Merry Christmas, yeobo.
From,
Jimin'"
Yoongi pressed a kiss to Jimin's cheek before reaching into the bag and tossing aside the paper. Yoongi picked up a folded piece of paper and opened it. He was silent at first, staring at the paper with a slightly open mouth and wide eyes.
Then, they filled with tears and he looked over at Jimin who was grinning.
"J-Jiminie . . ." Yoongi choked. Jimin engulfed him in a hug as he shook with laughter and sobs.
"What is it!?" demanded Taehyung. Yoongi swallowed and grinned.
"Adoption papers."
Taehyung screamed and Namjoon cheered, everyone clapping and hugging.
"We're gonna have a baby! Oh my god we're gonna have a baby!" cried Yoongi, hugging Jimin. The adoption papers weren't filled out, they were just a suggestion. They were application forms that Yoongi decreed that they would sign immediately.
"I love you so much, Min Jimin." Sobbed Yoongi. "This is the best Christmas I've ever had."
Jimin grinned. "I really didn't expect you to start crying."
"I c-can't help it, pabo." Laughed Yoongi.
"Are you sure this is what you want to do?" asked Jimin. Yoongi nodded, gripping Jimin.
"I've wanted to bring it multiple times but haven't had the guts to ask." Said Yoongi.
Jimin hugged Yoongi back, the faintest memory tickling at the back of his head.
"I won't make it till Christmas so there's no need to give me anything." Mumbled Yoongi as he moved Jimin's hair aside. Jimin frowned.
"I know . . . I just thought that could be a goal . . . that we should shoot for." Said Jimin. Yoongi nodded.
"I suppose so."
Jimin grinned. "If we had Christmas together, I'd make it the best Christmas you've ever had."
"Well, I've never had a Christmas before so I guess you could." Smiled Yoongi, kissing Jimin on the top of his head.
Jimin reached up to feel his cheek, he had started crying. Yoongi frowned.
"What's wrong?"
"I-I dunno." He mumbled.
"Is it another episode?" asked Yoongi. After what happened six years ago, Jimin would remember whisps of things he couldn't recall later and randomly start crying. He shook his head and grinned.
"I'm probably just happy." Smiled Jimin.
But his insides felt sad, they felt wrong.
And he didn't know why.
