Chapter 15 - The Ambush

Chapter 15 - The Ambush.

Logan's POV.

Instantly I brought my metallic claws out making a scraping metal sound that caught the guards attention. They slowly walked towards me with their guns in hand, really guns wow.

I looked at jean, as soon as she saw me she nodded signalling our ambush to start. I suddenly jumped up and over the bush, surprising the guards and instantly got shot with there machine guns, as I fell to the floor I managed to cut the ends of their guns.

I heard jean jump up and start attacking them, I slowly picked my self up, my body healing from the gun shot wounds and leaped at a guard who had his back to me. All the guards stared at me in shock as I ripped the guys head of, not my original plan. Jean then knocked the over two unconscious with a couple of swinging high kicks to the head.

"Did you have to?" She asked pointing at the dicaputated head at my feet.

"What?" I asked innocently, she sighed and opened the hatch lid that was in the ground.

"It's a trap." She stated and instantly got up. Guns clicking in the distance signalled that we where surrounded,

The dicaputated head suddenly formed to glop and re attached to the body. Disgusting.

"Shit." I breathed under my breath as Magneto appeared from behind some trees and shrubbery along with an army of men that had machine guns pointing towards me.

Scott's POV.

Me and the proffecer walked away from Jean and Logan.

"Where are we going profecer?" I asked curiously.

"We are going to follow Jean and Logan." He answered simpely.

"But how, we are going in the oppist direction, and why?" I asked confused at this.

"We will wait a couple of minutes before we go, we don't want them knowing that we are following.

And second, because they are more of the fight before think, type of people." Proffecer said, he started slowly wheeling his chair the way Jean and Logan went. "And anyway, when did you start questioning my choices?" The proffecer asked with a smirk on his serious face.

"Sorry Professer, I just was worried about Alisha." I said running my left hand through my hair.

"You have taken a likeing to young Alisha, yes?" Proffecer asked in his yoda voice.

"No, well, she just seemed so terrified." I state, Professer put his hand up as if to silence the conversation.

I crouched behind a bush, it was just the right height for proffeser Xavier to hide behind. In the far distance Logan and Jean had just attacked a grope of people and where now arguing over it. I went to get up to tell Logan to back off when the Proffeser grabbed my arm and pointed to his head. Right think before fight. Lame.

Even though I did think it was lame, I did wait. To my suprise, the proffeser was right, well it didn't really suprise me, he was always right. A couple of moments after the big attack, Magneto emerged with an army which surrounded Jean and Logan.

Magneto and his men marched Logan and Jean away till they where away from earsshot.

"What now?" I asked proffeser crious and worried as ever.

"We follow."
