Whilst Adam is away doing today's trial, 'Food Factory', everyone huddles around the fire and has a very deep conversation about family.

"I miss my mum and dad more than anything right now, and I keep telling myself how well I'm doing and how proud they would be of me for conquering so much, but I just want my mum, I just want a hug from my little sister. I don't even miss my dad being a total prick and winding me up or my little sister stealing my makeup." Scarlett begins, a small tear welling up in her eye. Larry hands her a tissue and pats her head.

"Just think, it's Christmas after this sweetie, and Christmas is a time for family." Lisa rubs her knee affectionately.

"And all this confrontation has been getting on my nerves and I would normally go to my mum but I can't!" Scarlett cries as Larry pulls her into his knee.

Earlier this morning there was another Martin related incident.

Scarlett was asking Martin (very nicely) to help out around camp more, because everyone has to muck in, it's just how life in the jungle works. Martin didn't take it too well, and started to mock Scarlett and blatantly refused to take orders from a young woman.

"Is this about Martin?" Wayne groans, collapsing down onto the floor heavily.

Scarlett nods weakly.

"Jesus, this whole adding new campmates thing has really backfired." Wayne mutters. I shrink back in between Joel and Jordan. I guess it has backfired. This is all my and Martin's fault. Wayne quickly corrects himself when he spots me mithering away in the background, "No no! Obviously not you Calla, you're bloody brilliant! I was referring to Mr Bigshot over there." Wayne laughs, striding over to me and engulfing me in a bear like hug. I push back the urge to cringe at human contact.

Wayne moves back to his seat.

"I couldn't imagine a camp without you." Joel smiles, knocking my shoulder.

"It's lovely to have such a warm person here." Lisa compliments.

"I would've hated to cause any tension, I'm not really that kind of person!" I fluster.

"Jesus no, you're the last person who could do that. Stop worrying!" Ola grins.

I sit on my swinging hammock, guitar cradled in my arms. Adam returned back from the trial having missed out on one star! We were all super impressed, especially since he had to face spiders which are hands down, his least favourite things in the entire bloody universe.

I begin to strum Fall Out Boy's Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, one of my all time favourite songs. It's very dismal and minor but upbeat at the same time.

"I'm gonna make you bend and break,

Say a prayer but let the good times roll,

In case God doesn't show."

I sing along quietly to the minor infested chord pattern.

"Other than Fall Out Boy and the Kaisers, what else are you into?" My hammock sways as Joel sits down next to me.

I think for a few seconds, on the one hand, embarrassed that he caught me singing, but on the other hand, impressed that he knows the song.

"Doctor Who, superheroes in general and pretty much any sitcom or comedic show going!" I laugh, gently propping my guitar up against the tree by my hammock.

"You're in Doctor Who at the moment, how did that come about?"

"I've been writing a nerd blog since uni, and I was asked to review the pilot episode of some ITV detective series. I wrote the review, but it wasn't positive. I thought the script was crap and the acting choices worse, and when the production company read the blog they challenged me to write a better script."
