Chapter 20

I sigh again as I wake up. I'm leaving this wonderful country in less than 4 hours. So I have to make the most of every second. It's funny how one holiday can change a person's look on life completely. Less than 11 days ago I was hating life just because I had to go on holiday!. Now I vow to go on a lot more trips abroad. I brush my hair and put hairspray in it to keep it straight then put on a 2 in 1 T-shirt with a satin slip dress, black tights and zip detail lace up hiker boots. My specs are balanced on my face and I slip on a bit of lipgloss. I walk down to the beach and immediately spot Alessandro holding a huge bunch of red roses tied with a pearly cream ribbon. I gasp and take them, kissing his cheek. We walk along the shore hand in hand. 'Come on I buy you chips' He says and I smile and nod, realising just how hungry I am. We enter the steamy shop and nag a space at the back, overlooking the sea. I order my favourite, chips with ketchup and extra potato scallops. Alessandro gets the same as me and we talk about plans for the future. Plans about going to veterinary school together come up though I've already got my future planned out. I'm going to take Art, Maths, Photography and Veterinary science for A-levels and maybe even Latin if I have the time. I'll get a flat near the college I'm choosing to study at, ace my course get a job as a top-class vet and spend my retirement years later feasting on champagne and strawberries. If it all goes to plan that is. Alessandro could possibly fit in the picture too. An hour later we both have double chocolate cones of carrot cake and strawberry ice-cream. I giggle because Alessandro has a dollop of ice-cream on his nose. 'Lick it off' He says. I laugh my butt off. 'What?' I gasp weakly. 'It's a tradition in my family. The girl one of the Reyes boys has to lick ice-cream off their nose on the last date' He informs me importantly and I smile, rolling my eyes. I lean forward, licking the blob off his nose. I pause and we both lean in. My palms begin to sweat. His lips connect with mine and instantly a shiver runs through my body. Fireworks erupt all over my body. His hand grabs the back of my head, making the kiss deeper and I feel like I could cry because it feels so wonderful. We break apart and I look at my watch. 'HOLY SHIZZBALLS I'VE TO LEAVE IN HALF AN HOUR'I yell and start collectinbg my things together. 'Wait this cant be it' He whispers. 'Will I ever see you again?'. I look at him and smile. 'Yes you will Alessandro. In the End you will. I guarantee it' I whisper, connecting our lips once more before pulling away and running up the cliff path. Goodbye Alessandro. It's been fun.

Hey!. WHOOOOOOOOOO. Last chapter done!. I feel a bit emotional. My that took a while. This is a good thing though. It means another of the ideas that have been rooting around in my hand can come out and make it's debut to the world. Stories aren't just words. Sure there are words but there are secret meanings behind them, images locked in that you have to get the meaning then to see them. Stories take a lot of work. Not just to write but to piece together, to think of, to put time into. You have no idea how lazy I got after Chapter 10 of this book. It's actually weird. For me all I have to do is think of the title and the story forms in my head. I guess for a while I took that for granted. I just thought hey...the chapter is still there in my mind. Don't need to worry. Will do it next week. Anyone who updates their story everyday is my hero. I have lots of ideas for stories but it's gonna take a lot of work to get them out.
