They sat there, looking down.

"Hey kids! Haven't you been told not to go outside?"

"It's Baylee's idea!' Kaspar stood up and noticed the girl's glance of disapproval. "But... don't blame her. We just wanted to help."

"Uh... okay."

In a minute they were back inside.

"It's incredibly boring," Baylee complained.

"Don't whine. You were literally taken out of death's embrace."

"Not really."

They were sitting on Kaspar's bed, talking. He picked up a piece of paper and a short pencil that looked like it was used way too many times.

"You wanna draw?"

"They could need this, you know."

"They could need guns, you know. And food."

"We put them back. I recommend you to do the same with this. Let's just do nothing."

"Aren't you the one who said she was bored?" Kaspar was already scribbling something.

"Let me see!"

"You said you didn't want anything to do with this."

"I didn't."

"Ah, anyway," Kaspar revealed a sketch of a girl with something that resembled flames on her hand. Next to her was a boy looking down in grief.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"The boy can't do magic."

Their eyes met.

"Kaspar, you..."

"Yes, me. It's me."

"Why haven't you told me earlier?"

"Didn't want anyone in my business."

Baylee nodded.

"Don't tell anyone, okay?" the boy called.

"Okay, sure!"

"And don't talk so loudly!" He cracked up while speaking.

A giggle was heard as Baylee exited.

What really happened?

He told her a secret. Accidentally, but he confessed.

He could have not. She felt proud and worried at the same time.

Could she keep it? How did that even happen?

Well, at least now she understood his strange behavior.

Baylee circled the house- once again. Nothing to do.

Maybe she could go on another spree. She was not allowed to, but otherwise she could die of boredom.

Judging by how she felt, she had already started the process of dying. Her head ached.
