Shyanne

I'm happy.

I get to go to school without someone calling me a name or pushing me or my things to the floor.

I get to learn I'm complete... happiness.

I try to leave for my next class but someone taps my shoulder and I turn around. I faced a boy who had brown hair and brown eyes. He had tan skin too. He looked very attractive...

"Huh?" I blinked and looked at him.

He chuckled and waved a book in my face. "Your book. You almost left it." He said. Already your first day and your forgetting something you need.

"Oh! Oh my goodness, thank you so much." I say as I take the book.
He sakes his head with a small smile.

"No problem. I'm Cameron." He stuck his hand out. I took his hand and shook it. "Shyanne."

"What class you have next?" He asked as we walked out. "Biology 101."

"Cool, and you mind if I walk you there? I'm getting that way." He said. "Sure." I smiled at him.

We started walking.

"So, how has you're first day been going so far?" He asked. I looked at him. "To be honest, it's a strong Okay." I answered.

"Aw, why isn't it amazing?" He laughed.

"Well, I've seen someone I've been trying to forget, plus I almost forgot my book which is very important. Thanks by the way." I pointed at him.

"I see. Is this person you're trying to forget your boyfriend?" He asked.

"I wouldn't say he's my boyfriend. Just a guy that's done lots of damage." I give a tight smile.

"Forget I said that. I shouldn't be rambling my problems to a stranger." I tucked some hair behind my ear.

"I won't be a stranger for long. I promise you that you'll see me around more often." He stared and licked his lips. There was a slight blush on my cheeks. "Bye, Shyanne." He winked before walking away.

"Cute." I said to myself, before walking into class.

"Shyanne!" I turned around to see Maggie rushing up to me.

I was on my way back to the dorm because I've completed all my classes for the day. "What's up?" I asked as she caught up with me.

"I know I said no boys but- I couldn't help myself." She pulled her phone out of her pocket and showed me a number on the screen. I'm guessing that it's a guys number.

"So there is this guy named Hayes, and he is the absolute cutest. Not cute but hot! He said he wanted to hang out." She rushed all that in one sentence.
"That's great! Go for it." I smiled happily for her.

She scoffed at me. "There's no way I'm gonna leave you out of this."
She pulled me even closer to her.
"Leave me out of what?" I asked scared of her answer.

"We're going to have a little diner that's like two blocks away from here, to grab some lunch." She explained.

"Maggie, I don't want to bother you. If this is a date-" She cut me off. "Nonsense! I just met the guy we're not going on a date!" She laughed.

Oh, stupid. I've should've known that. I laughed to myself.

"All right I'll go if it makes you happy." I say.

~~~~~~~~~~
"If we're just going to lunch why are we dressing up like this?" I asked as I checked myself out in the mirror.
"Still gotta look hot hun. Plus you're looking so good with your curves in that dress." She complemented.
"You think?" I asked and she nodded. "Hell. Yes. Slay." She snapped her fingers. I laughed and covered my face.
"No but you over here," I said as I fanned my fake sweat.
"Stop, don't do that, don't do that." She playfully said. We both laughed together.
"Let's take a picture." She said.
She was in front of me and stuck her arm in the air with her phone.
Once she got it at the right angle that showed everything, she took the picture. She gasped. "Yes bitch!" She yelled. "I'm guessing we look good?" I asked as I fixed my hair.
"Fuck yeah. Alright let's go."
~~~~~~~~~
"Where here. How do I look?" She asked as she pushed her boobs up. I pushed her hands down. "You look great." I said and she gave me a thumbs up.

We walked inside and there was a table that I saw a couple of people sitting at. "Oh, there's Hayes." She said and took my hand in hers leading the way.

Fuuckk. Derek was here.

It was him, Nate, and Sam with Hayes.

"Shyanne?" I hear someone call my name. I turn around and see Cameron. I hear little whistles behind me, coming from the boys.
"Hey." I smiled as he walked up to me.

"Shyanne?" Maggie asked.
"Oh um this is Cameron. I met him in class today." I say. He says hi to everyone. "Well I work here so catch you later." He said before walking away.

I turn back around and Maggie pats the seat next to her. I sit and scoot next to her. "So Shyanne," Nate speaks up. "You're cuffed?" He leaned closer to the table.
"No." I simply answered.

"You wanna rearrange that status?" He smirked. I leaned forward. "No, and definitely not with you." I say before leaning back in the seat. The boys snickered. Hayes cleared his throat. "Alrighty then." Hayes clapped his hands.

Nate nods and leans back staring me in amusement. I look over to Derek who was staring at me.

Why is he always staring? Is there something on my face?

"I'm going to the bathroom." I told Maggie. "Want me to come with?" She asked. "No it's okay, I'll be right back." I said and she nodded. I scooted out of the booth and walked over to the door that had the female sign for bathroom.

I waked in and went straight to the sink to wash my hands. After that I dried them and looked in the mirror. I sighed as I threw the paper out before heading out.

I pushed the door but it hit someone. "I'm so sorry!" I winced.
I come out completely, and I realize that I hit Derek with the door. "I take that back." I say. I tried to walk past him but he took my wrist in his hand.

I forcefully snatch it back.
"Shyanne. I know it's you, okay." He said in a hushed tone. "Whatever." I said as I tried to make it back to the table. "I'm trying to talk to you." He said and I turned around.

"I don't care. I simply don't want to talk to you so leave me the hell alone." I hissed. I rolled my eyes at his surprised expression and headed back to the table.

Who does he think he is, trying to talk to me shit? Can't believe him.
I will never talk to him. Seeing his face brings up so hatred.
