Shyanne's pov

Ugh. Why is my pillow so hard?
I tried to get comfortable by shifting around but it wasn't working.

I sighed and slowly opened my eyes. After blinking a few times, I started looking around. I was in my dorm... I was in my bed... but there was someone guy sleeping next me. Actually I was kind of on top of him. One of my legs were covering both of his and my arm was on top of his abdomen. Did I mention he was shirtless?

I slowly looked up at this stranger's face and gasped and quickly sat up. I regretted it and held my head in my hand. The pain was distracting me and I didn't notice that Derek was staring at me.

I sighed and looked him. "What the hell are you doing here?" I said lowly because if I spoke too loud it would make worst for my head. "You were drunk last night and I helped you get here safely." He shrugged. I looked over at Maggie's bed to find her not there. "And you're in my bed because?" I asked. He licked his lips before getting up and out of my bed.

"You wanted my to stay." He shrugged and I scoffed. "Why is your shirt off? Did we?" I asked slowly. He shook his head. "Nah. But you did throw yourself on me a couple of times. My shirt was off because it got hot in here." He chuckled.

"Just get out." I said annoyedly. I picked up his shirt from the end of my bed and tossed it at him, causing him to catch it. "Kicking my out so soon?" He joked. "I clearly don't want to be around you." I rolled my eyes at him as he put on his shirt.

"You should actually be thanking me." He said. I looked at him before scoffing. "Thank you? Above all things, I should be thanking you? I don't think so." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Stop holding a grudge against me. I said I was sorry and I meant it. I truly meant it." He said slowly. I just shook my head before getting out of the bed. "Okay, you're sorry and you might be telling me the truth, but guess what? I don't care. Doesn't matter what you say, I will always hate you. The things you've done to me me were horrible. So don't say I should be thanking you." I said seriously.

"I know what I did to you was wrong but, please. Please give me a chance to make things right. You don't have to be friends with me, you don't even have to talk to me, but what I don't want is for you to keep hating me." He stepped closer, making me step back.

"Just stop talking to me like you care. You don't cared about my feelings, you never did. So why are you asking me to do this?"

"I do care."

"You don't."

"I do." He said sternly. "If I didn't care, why did I bring you home safely? Why was I the one to look after you when you were drunk, making sure that no one would hurt you? Anything could've happened, but I made sure you were safe." He licked his lips and I just stayed silent.

"So you're telling me you took out your anger on me because you cared about me? That's a great fucking excuse!"

"I was stupid back then." He said and I rolled my eyes. "That was a couple of months ago." He scratched the back of his neck.
"Okay so I have anger issues. I took it out on you because I would've done something stupid." He explained. I just gave him a blank face. So hitting me was the best idea?

"You still don't think before you speak. Like I said before, leave. I'm already late to class." I said. He just stared at me for a while before nodding. "Alright. I'm going. But this isn't over." He said as he made his way towards the door. "It clearly is." I said before shutting the door behind him.

Derek's pov

She hates me alright. She made it so perfectly clear that she did.
I tried to tell her that I was sorry again but she wasn't having it. I'm trying to make things right, but she making things so hard. I don't blame her though.

I made my way over to my room and opened the door. It was was always unlocked. I closed it behind me and walked over to my bed. On the other side of the room, I saw Sam and some girl. I sighed. Lucky him.

The girl groaned in her sleep. I walked towards them and then covered my mouth. "Dude what the fuck!?" I said loudly before laughing my ass off. Sam put a pillow over his head to ignore me. "Maggie?" I placed a hand over my chest.

She was still sleeping soundly. "Aw fuck man. You slept with Hayes' girl." I shook my head in disappointment. Sam jumped up quick but then regretted it and held his head in his hands. "Shit." He whispered. He started shaking Maggie so that she would wake up.

"Good luck explaining that to him." I laid down in my bed. "What he doesn't know won't hurt him." I heard Sam say. I rolled eyes. I'm already late to class, so why go?
