14. A Mistake.

"Jaya? What is he doing here?" He looked at me, and then looked at Virat.

"Don't be rude Ranbir!" I laughed. He mumbled something I couldn't quite hear.

"Yeah Ranbir, don't be rude!" Virat said sarcastically. He was really drunk.

"Oh shutup Virat!" I said to him.

"And she says not to be rude.." Harry said.

Ranbir slouched down on the sofa that the boys weren't on, and I sat next to him, with my legs on his lap. I looked at Virat and smirked.

"How was your audition then?" I asked Ranbir.
"It went really well, Karan said that he didn't know how, but I've improved since ADHM !" He seemed so proud.

"Aww, Im so proud of you!!" I said.

"I'm proud of you too! Your first movie!!" he copied my childish smile.

"You missed me that much?" Ranbir laughed and pointed at the TV screen.

I laughed and nodded my head, when my phone buzzed.

I looked at it and it was a text from Virat.

It read, 'Ask him if he cheated Jaya'. I looked at him, like I was about to slap him.

"Who's that?" Ranbir asked.
"Oh it's bhai, he just asked if everyone was OK" I smiled.

I got another text.

'Already lying? You'd be better with me, wouldn't you? X'

I gave him a dirty look, which he did a sad face to.

He mouthed to me 'ask him'. I rolled my eyes.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I smiled and asked.

"Shall I tell you here? It's about Katrina." Virat coughed loudly.

I gave him another dirty look. But maybe he was right? Maybe he did cheat.

"Go on. What." I said, full of attitude.

"Don't get angry with me, I did nothing wrong, ok? Basically, I got the part like as soon as I auditioned, and because Katrina had already been picked, she was there, and she basically tried to get it off with me..." I stared at him, shocked.

"You didn't did you?..." I asked.

He laughed. "No, Jaya, I swear to you."

As soon as Ranbir said that, Virat let out a sarcastic laugh.

Just then, Ranbir got a call. I saw the caller ID, and it was his mom.

"Um guys, just whilst Ranbirs on the phone, I'm going to get going. Moms texted!" We all said bye to him, and he left.

He probably didn't want to leave the same time as Ranbir because of the paps.

After about 2 minutes, Ranbir hung up, and said to us "Mom and dad want me home, don't know why, but i've got to go Jaya, I'll see you tomorrow yeah?" He asked and we both got up, "yeah yeah, sure."
