We're pirates!

Poem based off Jake and the Neverland Pirates (when referred to innocent pirates) and the pirates I grew up with (when talking about rebelious actions). Basis of pirates from Yo Ho! (A Pirate's Life For Me) by Blood On The Dance Floor. (music in the side)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We're pirates!
We sail the seas,
Looking for hidden treasures.
We raise Hell;
There's nothing better!
We sword fight,
because we're the God Damn boss!
We tromp through swamps.
Even through the moss.
Our language ain't limited
To "Argh!" and "Ahoy!"
We like to kidnap people.
Some our slaves. Some our toys.
We like our rum
Bitter, not sweet.
We sing our sailor songs
Despite in the agonizing heat.
But, now, we're based as kids
Not rebellious adults and teenagers
We're looked upon as innocent,
Not as unwanted strangers.
What have we come to,
from rebelious to innocent does,
when we go from looking for plunderous booty
to finding Peter Pan's infamous shadow?
We're pirates?
