December 9, 2008 - Wednesday
"I am so not in the mood for Physical Education right now." June says beside me, sighing heavily. "I don't know why but, this past few days were really, really crappy."
"Aren't you being quite exaggerated with your words?" I let out a light giggle, holding some books that I needed for today.
"If I say really, (Y/n), I mean it." He narrows his eyes at me, making my eyebrows furrow at him in return. "I really don't know... Last week, I wasn't feeling this crappy until I--" He cuts off his sentence, His eyes staring into nothing. I wait for him to complete his sentence patiently, as he just stares blankly ahead of him.
"Uhh, Hello?? Earth to June?" I wave my hand in front of him, but it was still no use. He looks down to his feet, looking like he was in some really deep thought suddenly.
Since he was so lost in his train of thoughts, I just look at him weirdly confused, my eyebrows furrowed at him.
At the last moment, I saw that he was about to crash into a guy, and that guy was not any ordinary guy, that guy was a short-tempered sport jock named Buck, who was a senior at our school.
Me being his friend and wanting to save his useless life, I pull him by the sleeve of his jacket closer to me. He snaps out of his daze and he decides to face me as I do this, and when I finally pulled him towards me, I notice how close the distance was between our faces.
For a minute, we lock on each other's gaze, me falling into a deep abyss in his mesmerizing eyes as he falls into my (e/c) ones.
"Hey..." He mumbles slightly above a whisper as he still doesn't take his eyes away from mine. That is, until I decided to end our little staring competition. I look away from his gaze, feeling my face heat up from the point in time. I fan myself with my free hand, dodging his eyes that seemed to pierce holes into me."T-Tha--"
"Isn't it too young for you guys to have love lives?" A senior mockingly says, walking pass us with his friends who were laughing at his remark.
"Go and make out already jeez!" One of his friends teases, as his whole squad of friends applaud and cheered.
I rub my face with my hand, embarrassed in the present situation. People passed us some weird and amused looks before doing what they're supposed to do.
"Oh, shut up!" June alleges, looking away from their nasty looks that they were giving him.
"Aish! Annoying pricks..." He adds, but quietly says it to himself for them not to hear. He mumbles some foul words he made up himself which just makes me cheer up a little bit since some of his 'fowl' words were just plain dumb, yet it amused me.
I pat his shoulder to signify that he should just let go of those seniors as we once again started walking towards our classes, which unfortunately is different. I enjoyed June's company and honestly he made me feel so secure. So by the thought of seperating our ways once we got to our class kinda affected me in some way.
June beams at me as he raises his hand and waves it in the air, "See you later!" I smile at him back and gave him back the favor. "Bye!"
I go to my next class which was apparently Mathematics. I unlocked the door and soon after I entered, I went towards a free seat as I shuffled towards it.
June is always hanging out with me to the point that everyone has stopped looking for new friends...
I sigh heavily and close my eyes shut,
Dammit, June. You're making me look like a complete loner right now.
"What's wrong with being a 'loner'?" A familiar voice asks at my side. I slowly look up to face that person, which made my heart beat faster. "Oh, um. Hi." I awkwardly greet as I just noticed I was thinking out loud. I mentally face palmed myself for doing such an idiotic and clichè move that they have always done in those cheesy romantic books.
