Jacks POV:

My mother held up the bag with my razor blades and knives inside.
My father stood next to her with tears in his eyes.
"Where did you get these?" My mom asked.
"How long has this been going on" my father followed. I ran to my room and locked my door, I heard my parents stop outside and knock.
"Baby please we just want to talk to you, this is serious" my mother pleaded,
"We aren't mad we just need to know why" my father said.

I opened my door and fell into my father's arms. Pretty sure I soaked his shirt but I didn't care. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and reassuringly, we prob were like that
for a good 10 minutes before I croaked out some words to say.
"I'm sorry for making you upset" "I need help" I managed to say.
"I know buddy, we are going to do everything we can to get u help."
My father said reassuringly.

I'm only 14 why do I have all these thoughts? I asked myself.
"Baby can we see your arms please?" My mother asked. I hesitated but gave in, if I was going to get help I might as well start here.

I rolled up my flannel and showed them. My father was in tears aswell as my mom, my eyes began to fill up too.
"Buddy I am so sorry" my dad said with a broken voice cracking,
"We will help you as much as we can" my mom said.
I felt terrible, I made my parents cry and saw my father cry for the first time.
"I'm sorry I even did it, I'm sorry I made you cry." "I'm sorry that_" my father intrupted me.
"Son you don't have to apologize for your mistakes, we are going to get you help." "In the mean time if you need someone to talk to, you know your mother and I are both here." My father said apologetic.

"Thank you" I said
"Anytime" my parents said.

I went to bed that night wondering if I did the right thing. Thoughts flooded my head causing them to spill out of my eyes.

I wish I never did that, I wish my parents didn't find out. I thought
I hope they aren't blaming themselves. These thoughts carried on in my mind to where I couldn't sleep. Even though I hesitated, I got up with my pillow and went into my parent's room. I gentally shook my mom, she stirred a few but eventually opened her eyes. She turned on the small lamp next to her,
"What's wrong buddy?" She asked nicely. The light woke my dad up and he joined our conversation. "Are you ok?" He asked concerned,

"I can't stop thinking about everything, I can't sleep." I admitted.
"Its ok Jack, you can sleep in here if you want, we can talk if u want too" my mother suggested.
I agreed and climbed into bed between them.
"Goodnight Jack" they both said "Goodnight" I replied. They kissed my forehead and each put an arm on me, and we all fell asleep again.
