SOPHIE'S P.O.V.
Mason Bennet was caught and sentenced to life in prison seven days after Dallas's death. Johnny, Pony and I went to his tiral and watched. We were satisfied with the outcome.
Darry became my legal guardian until I was 18, so I stayed living with them. When I turned eighteen, me and Johnny moved in together in the house me and Dally were going to live in. Dally had already put down a good amount of money on the house, and he left me everything, so we moved in. Two years later, when I was 20 and Johnny was 22, Johnny proposed to me on our roof while we watched the sunset. We got married later that year.
Johnny and I ended up moving to Virginia like we had always dreamed of. We bought a house in a nice part of a small, tight knitt town. We had five kids, in age order: Maddie, Carter, Dean, Lily, and Dallas. I can see my older brother in my son Dallas every day. He's a tuff little cookie, but a softie on the inside--just like Dally. They all make me so happy and I love them to death. Johnny got a job as a newspaper editor for our towns paper. I got a job along side him as a journalist.
Sodapop went and finished highschool after Ponyboy graduated. Then he took some management night classes at a local college. Soon after that, he and Steve bought the DX. They own it together and both work there full time. Soda ended up marrying a girl named Laurie that he met at his night classes, and they live in the old Curtis house. Steve moved in next door. Soda and Laurie had four kids: Paula, Sam, Katie and Lily. All of his kids are very good friends with Steve's kids.
