All five of us stood there in the darkness, and I could almost feel the blatant stares on me from stating the obvious.
someone had to say it!
I felt around for the counter and hoisted myself on top of it, knocking of a couple of forks and spoons off in the process.
"Sooo what do we do?" I could make out Carter's voice from across the kitchen. I shrugged my shoulders.
no one can see that idiot!
Riders voice cut the silence "well, everyone use your phone lights to make your way upstairs." I felt around for my phone but of course it had it me in my room already at this very moment. I banged my way through the kitchen and as I whacked my head into the fridge, I felt a hand wrap around my wrist.
"Come on" I could make out Lachies voice whisper in my ear, making my heart do a wee little tiny flip, hardy noticeable. I let Lachie lead me through the darkness, our phones being the only source of light we had.
I suddenly bumped into Lachies back as he had stopped walking. "The fu--oh" I mumbled as I realised we had stopped outside my bedroom door. I heard him chuckle and walk off toward what I could only imagine his bedroom, as I opened my door and fumbled around till I found my phone.
"Finally" I mumbled, turning my phone on and the light lighting up the darkness of the room. I found my closet and got out my pjs, slipping them on and coming back out.
I could hear my door open and Rider voice sounded out "bring your pillow and quilt downstairs. I was about to ask him what the hell he was talking about but he had already closed the door, his footsteps echoing down the hall.
I grabbed my pillow and quilt and made my way outside and down the stairs, fumbling with my blanket along the way. When I had managed to make it down the stairs alive, I followed the light of my phone towards the living room.
When I entered I saw Rider laying blankets and pillows on the ground, and the others playing a game of coin toss, using the light of their phones. I gave my blanket to rider and he placed it down... In the middle.
I gave him the you-are-frickin-kidding-me look, and he just chuckled like the amazing friend he is, and continued to put my pillow down. I heard cheers come from Lachie and Mason as I sat down on my blanket.
We all sat in a circle and I thought of something to do. I grabbed my phone and made my way to the kitchen, grabbing a packet of marshmallows and coming back. I placed them down in the middle of our circle "never have I ever, let's go" I announced.
Mason started off "never have I ever had a relationship" rider was the only one who ate a marshmallow. Lachie and Mason were looking at me, and Carter was laughing at their expectant faces.
I shook my head at them, and they slowly looked away in surprise. I was laughing on the inside, believe me. Rider went next "never have I ever made out with someone in a closet" I was the only one who ate a marshmallow.
Carter clicked his tongue "my, my, my Faith!"
"Oh shut up" I laughed.
I went "never have I ever crashed a party" Lachie ate a marshmallow and so did Mason. I raise my eyebrows amusedly.
Lachie huffed "yeah well, Mason and I were driving the truck and we drove through a closed off street and drove straight through a party"
Mason chuckled "our car was egged"
"Idiots" I muttered under my breath.
Rider popped a bunch of marshmallows in his mouth "well, I'm tired, let's sleep." He said decidingly and all the boys went to sit on their blankets. I was expecting Rider to come over and sleep on one of the beds next to me, but, because he's such a good friend he went to sleep on the end.
