'Y/N?' You heard someone call you. You looked up to see it was Soo Young. You kept your phone down thinking it would be important.

'Yeah?' You asked her, whose face got unusually bright.

'Someone's here to see you,' She mused, as she wiggled her eyebrows.

'What? Who?' You asked as you stood up, walking towards her.

'Oh you'll see,'

You both walked out and saw a man with brilliant blonde locks leaning against the counter, his back facing you and Soo Young.

'Excuse me, Sir? Y/N's here,' She announced, giving you a wink before leaving to tend to the other customers.

You didn't have to be told who he was. You would recognize that hair anywhere.

'Taehyung, you came!' You surprised yourself with a squeaky voice you had never produced before, almost cupping your mouth in embarrassment.

He chuckled, giving a you a devastatingly gorgeous smile, 'Yes, Y/N, I did.' You walked towards the counter, almost forgetting there was one as your abdomen bumped into it. You cursed at your clumsiness, him still holding onto a cheery smile.

He stretched his hand upwards towards his head to run it across his hair, letting you get a whiff of his intoxicating scent that you were very close to closing your eyes in pleasure.

'Would you like to have a cup of coffee with me, Y/N?' The way your name rolled of his tongue made you want to fall unconscious at his demeanor and personality.

'Why not?' You said, a different feeling creeping up your stomach.

'The usual?' You asked him. He nodded, and went to sit down at a table. You made two cups of Cappuccino and walked over to him, self conscious about how you walked.

'Thank you,' He said, showing his crescent eyes, as they twinkled in appreciation.

'No problem,' You said, very much mesmerized by them.

You sat down across him and the two of you conversed, words and questions rolling out effortlessly like you both were long lost friends. You would very often find yourself lost in his gaze if you looked at his orbs that met yours, without fail. He would have to repeat a few of the questions because of this, a blush flowing across your cheeks, whenever he did so.

'You're very approachable, Y/N. I like that,' He complimented you, your thoughts getting feral with every compliment he dropped, almost making Taehyung laugh as he could hear you.

'Ah, not really. I'm a very..anti-social...no, too strong. Um- I'm just not very good at making friends. I really don't enjoy meeting new people. That's probably why I don't have a boyfriend,' You let the last part slip, your eyes growing wide in astonishment.

'I mean- uh-'

'It's alright, Y/N. I have tongue slips too,' He chuckled, instinctively making you feel comfortable again. He marveled silently about how pretty you looked when your cheeks were tainted with the lightest shade of pink, and how beautiful and melodious your voice sounded to him.

"If only I could have you already, Y/N," he thought, but mistakenly got it conveyed to you to you telepathically.

'Huh? Did you say something?' You looked up at him from your cup, noticing his face getting flushed for the first time.

'N-no.' He stuttered, making a giggle erupt from your mouth.

"Messing up already, are you, Kim Taehyung?" Yoongi chuckled darkly, finding humor in Taehyung's situation.

'Fuck you.' Taehyung muttered, as he slammed the cup on the table, and turning his head around to look at Yoongi who was smirking at Taehyung.

'I'm sorry? Did I do something?' You asked, worried. You saw him looking behind him, so you craned your neck as well, to catch a glimpse of whatever - or whoever - he was looking at, right when he turned his head back to you with wide eyes.

'Oh my goodness, no, Y/N. I was thinking of something and well- I had a slip of tongue,' He smiled, trying to wave off the awkwardness that was beginning to settle between you both, thanks to Min Yoongi.

Somehow, he managed to get the conversation going, and you seemed to forget about what had happened earlier with every time he made you laugh with his corny jokes.

'I didn't think there was this kind of side to you, Taehyung. You didn't seem very...approachable, the first time we met.' You said as you wiped away the tears from the corners of your eyes that came from all the laughing.

'Neither did I, Y/N. But I'm curious-' He began, a smile resting on his lips ad he placed his cup down on the table before looking at you with bright eyes.

'-What did you think of me the first time we met?' He asked you, silently praying it wasn't something embarrassing.

'Ah well, you seemed pretty off at first, running away like that after a handshake, so I figured you might have a thing or two against unhygienic people, but obviously, that's not the case-' You said, as you remembered the previous night, your hands making inanimate gestures in the air as a force of habit, which Jin would usually complain about. But Taehyung - he found the particular trait cute, and wondered if you had an artistic side to you.

'Obviously,' He said dreamily as he watched you talk about him.

I could listen to her all day, He thought.

Taehyung heard a belching sound and turned his head around again to see it was none other than Min Yoongi.

He put up his hands in protest before pinching his nose with one of his hands, "Love is in the air," He said, making yet another belching motion. Taehyung was very close to getting up from the seat, but you brought him back just in time.

'So, I find you utterly amusing, Taehyung. And it's not everyday that a stranger can get me to open up to them so easily,' You said, before taking a sip of your coffee.

He looked at you for a while, 'Would you like to go out with me, Y/N?' He blurted, clenching a fistful of his coat under the table at the impromptu revelation. Maybe, that wasn't his best idea.

'Wh- what?' You asked, astonished. He looked unsure this time, but didn't let his smile falyer before he repeated himself.

'You mean, l-like a date?' Another man - other than Jin - talking to you would have been considered a miracle itself by your mother, but he was already asking you out on a date. If not Jin, Jungkook would most likely be the one accusing you of coming up with the biggest lie of the century. Yes - you were indeed that bad with men.

'Very much like one. I mean, you are very appealing to me, Y/N. And you find me amusing as well. It wouldn't be wrong to dwell in those feelings now, would it?' He spoke confidently, almost making you mute with happiness and other mixed feelings.

'Of- of course not! I mean-' You began rushing as you saw his expression change to disappointment thinking you had turned his offer down.

'-it's absolutely alright to dwell in those feelings is what I'm trying to say. I'd love to go out with you,' You said it all in one breath, as his face stretched into the smile you were unknowingly, but completely falling for.

'I'll pick you up tomorrow after work then. It was lovely to be able to spend time with you, Y/N. I look forward to our... date.' He said, as he burned with happiness inside. Taehyung didn't remember when was the last time he felt so happy, that he almost blurted out an 'I love you'. He got up, almost bumping his knee to the table, an urge pulling at him to at least shake your hand and thank you, but he resisted.

He wished to touch you again, recalling the jolt of electricity and heat he had felt when you shook his hand the previous night.

'Same here, Taehyung. Don't ditch me!' You called as he left through the door.

'Never,' He whispered to himself, very much content with the meeting.
