For the next few days, neither had you seen Taehyung nor had you heard from him. And it didn't help that after you got well again, Jin had been pestering you for the rest of the week about calling Namjoon over.

'I'm just curious that's all!' He would say every time you asked him why he was so keen on calling him over.

Finally agreeing to him, you decided today, which was a Thursday, would be the day you'd call Namjoon over again. You walked into the cafeteria and did your usual activities before settling behind the counter.

Besides the fact that you had to invite Namjoon over and you hadn't a single idea how you would strike up the conversation, you were worried about one more thing: Hoseok hadn't attended university for the past week. It scared you, because the nightmares you had begun getting for over a week, had been a recurring thing and it just got gorier every time you had the nightmare. You didn't know what it could mean - or what it should - or why you were getting them out of the blue. But you decided, since it was an off day from university, you would drop by Hoseok's house later.

You saw Namjoon walking in, and began making your way around the counter to approach him but you stopped: Something was not right. He was breathing heavily, his gaze darted from one direction to another, his shoulders tensing every now and then, and his pace much more faster than what was humanely possible. You had a keen eye to say the least, but you wished you had a much keener mind to figure out exactly why he was behaving that way. Deciding to keep an eye on him rather than talk to him, you stayed low key.

Barely an hour had passed and he was already collecting his belongings to leave. Raising an eyebrow, you were surprised the manager actually let him, considering he was pretty new. He darted across the room like he was missing a bus, making you all the more curious. You followed him.

You were merely three steps away from him when he opened the door. The moment it closed, you opened it again and stepped outside and saw ahead, and both your directions; He was no where.

'What?' You mumbled, very confused. Maybe he dissolved in the crowd? But there was barely any. There was no other explanation you could come up with. Deciding to forget about it, you walked back in, mentally noting to tell this to Jin.

It was almost impossible to forget it.

It was afternoon and your work for the day was done. Instead of going home, you decided to pay a little visit to Hoseok. You gathered your things, changed back into your casuals and were out in no less than five minutes. Climbing into your car, you were glad you remembered the way to his house, and drove there.

In fifteen minutes, you were parked in front of his house. The wooden ruin looked like it could fall out any second - just like the day you had left him home. The memories of that day came back. It had the undeniable power of saddening you.

'No.' You shook your head, trying think of much less depressing things you could. You got out of the car, settled the creases in your dress and walked to the door.

Meanwhile Namjoon, who had taken refuge in the abandoned house opposite Hoseok's, had seen this. He was very close to bursting out of the door to stop you, but he was too late. He cursed so loudly he was partially surprised you hadn't heard him from across the street.

You had opened the door to his house since nobody had answered it.

'Hoseok?' You called into the house, not sure if what you did was right or wrong.

'Mrs. Jung?' You had met his mother once before, but it was three years ago on the first day of college. You wondered how she was keeping after all these years.
