You sat silently on the couch, tapping your fingers against your leg. Frisk had rushed off to wake Papyrus and Toriel, inviting them to come along. He tapped aggressively on his phone, like he was inviting every living monster, as he rushed around.
Your eyes wandered as you waited, Sans sitting across from you in an aged armchair. When you spared a glance at him, he was staring at you. You couldn't avoid the blush as you averted your gaze as quickly as possible. "So...." He hummed. "This is the student behind Ambassador (Y/N)."
You nodded, tugging at you beanie and brushed you hair from your face. "Yep, overripe edge lord in leather." You joked. "I only dress in the finest of Hot Topic."
He chuckled as you laughed, relaxing. You sighed as you looked upwards, slumping down in your chair. "You officially have seen the true face behind Ambassador of Humans. What do ya think?" You asked, sarcasm dripping from your tone. "Aren't I just the perfect little politician/student?"
He chuckled, shrugging. "Meh, you seem the same to me." He confessed.
You couldn't help but feel disappointed as he said so. "Aw man, I thought I was pulling off this two face thing kinda well."
He shook his head. "No, you misunderstand. I'm not saying you can't differentiate between work and home. I'm saying that I was able to see the real you when I met you yesterday. It's my weird thing. Reading people."
You snickered. "What? Magical, Punny Skeleton wasn't doing it for you?"
He laughed. Frisk appeared from the kitchen, pouting as he flopped on the couch next to you. "They others are going to meet us at lunch. They all had excuses like 'I need the sleep!' Or 'I'm not feeling to good right now.' Stupid bodily functions."
You snickered as you ruffled his hair, smiling at him. "Well if you want I can take you solo. Just you, me, and Sans if you want."
He looked at Sans who shrugged. "Why not?" He admitted. "I got the day off."
You smiled and stood. "Cool! Get on your shoes. I'm driving."
Frisk jumped to his feet and retrieved his worn boots, Sans following not too far after. You opened the door and ran to your car, collecting random items and throwing it into the trunk. As you closed the trunk, you bit back a scream. Sans stood directly in front of you as Frisk locked the door and rushed over. He looked at your car admiringly and nodded as he examined it.
"Nice ride. I'd expect something a lot more current with an ambassador but this is old."
You nodded as you climbed into the driver's seat. Frisk slipped into the back seat and Sans sat in shotgun. "It's my dad's old car. He was gonna just throw it out but he saved it as my High School graduation gift."
You snickered. "He thinks I'm stowing it so it won't sustain damage and build up worth."
Sans laughed as his hand rested outside the window. You checked your mirrors and eased your way from the parking lot, taking the short drive to the college. It was a few miles and a highway away, fifteen minutes max.
You pulled the car into its usual spot in the nearly empty lot. As you stepped out, Frisk looked around in confusion. "Where are everyone else's cars?" He asked.
You flushed before hiding your face and shrugging. "I'm guess they're just out today." You mused.
You didn't want him to know your father than paid for private residence over the entire wing. Instead you smiled and turned to them as you waved a hand at the campus. "So what we're you guys thinking? Drama hall... food court.... Commons..... what?"
